Well the rail that comes with that grip is ment to be attached to the gun by screws. The rail is just a little portion of a RIS. So look on your M4 and see if there are holes on it where you can attach your rail.

Back when I picked up my first AEG like almost 10 years ago I purchased a kit like that to add a VFG on the bottom of the stock handguard. Basically it's a simple nut and bolt that you just thread on the bottom of the handguard. However if I recall it stuck up enough to where I had issues trying to fit the small type battery in the hand guard as a result and I ended up never using it.

I had a similar setup on my KWA a while back, and it wasn't horrible. However, if I were to do it now, I'd buy a Magpul MOE hand guard and an MVG to go with it. No rails, just a really comfy grip and guard.

I used to have this on my M4's old handguard. It worked great for putting a foregrip on. It attaches to the bottom handguard, so when you take off the handguard the rail and grip comes with it. I liked it, but it looked weird to me because the handguard is round with a rectangular block on the bottom of it. It doesn't look too bad it just bothered me. Can't really go wrong with it though.
