That is to say, Angled Foregrip vs Vertical Fore Grip. Which one do you guys prefer?

On longer rifles ( 12"+) rails I prefer AFGs due to how I shoulder the rile. To me using them on shorter setups isn't as comfortable, but for others it works. Same rifle, one version had a 10" rail, the other a 12". I prefer the feel of the AFG on the longer rail as apposed to the 10". What it really boils down to is how you shoulder your rifle and what is comfortable for you. Ghast and I have a similar shooting stance, and he uses a VFG, so it comes down to what works for you.

I prefer the AFG, because of the ergonomic feeling. I also love the looks of it.

I prefer AFGs for standard length guns. It just seems a lot more ergonomic than a VFG. Shorter guns I prefer VFGs for.

I've got the worst of both worlds. I have a VFG, and a long gun. Unfortunately my RIS is short, even though my barrel is long, especially since it has a mock suppressor. I'm kind of reluctant to change over to a free float since I had read that the mock gas system, on my gun, was supposed to add rigidity to the barrel. I would have to obviously get rid of the gas block if I were to go with a free float. What I don't know is if there is such thing as a low profile gas block that I could mount on my gun, to take the place of the my current gas block. I'd love to put a longer free float on, and get a AFG. For now I'll just have to stick with the VFG. When I finish building my RS AR it will have a free float and AFG. At that point I may look into trying to convert my airsoft to a free float, so they are alike.

Here's a couple of ideas for you Tank. www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=6674www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=6672There are quite a few out there, those were just in stock. If you have a one piece barrel, just tighten down your delta ring, it should be more than sturdy.

Good to know, thanks Pagan. I'll have to convert it over for next season. I've been wanting to get one of the XPS EOTech and some flip up iron sights too. This will take care of all my issues.

As an FYI, most VFG can be held like an AFG.

As an FYI, most VFG can be held like an AFG. Not if you have too short of an RIS. I'd look like an idiot (I know, I know, shut up), plus it would be way to uncomfortable.
