Hey guys, I am super upset, I bought a box set of 10 G&P 130 rounders. They don't feed in my G&P like they are suppose to without tape and they are jamming every 5-8 shots. I have sprayed down them a little with compressed air and then lubed them and I'm still having the same problem. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? Should I try returning them to ehobby? I spent way too much money on these for them not to work. Thank you for any help.

Have you lubed your hop up recently? It might be that, or you have too much hop, your air nozzle might be too far forward, and maybe some other things that I can't think of. Sorry to hear that though.

No, when the mags themselves feed they work pretty good in the gun, but the mags keep jamming up.

Had the same problem. Sad to say for what you would think would be high quality mags. The bb's double stack in the mag and jam up. From what I can tell the channel in the mag is too wide allowing the bb's to jam. I added some bb's on the bottom side of the spring thinking that more pressure would help, nope. I have yet to figure out a fix.

I was thinking the same thing about the wide canal. Does anyone know what mags feed well and in a G&P?

I would try lubing the mag and then loading and unloading the mag. Maybe try to break in the spring.

Damn sorry to hear that Shanker. I use 20 G&P metal mid cap magazines. Most of mine are the VN style 110 rounders and I haven't had a single issue with them. However I do have a couple standard STANAG 130rd metal mid caps and have had a couple of them feed very poorly for me.

Have tried putting <130 rounds in them? MAG 110 round mags feed like garbage if I put 110 rounds in them. 90 seems to be the break point for me.

To tell you the truth I haven't thought of that. Do you think that leaving in some bbs to reduce spring tension would help them stop double stacking also?

It's possible. Some of my G&P magazines don't seem to feed the last 10-20 rounds. So it's definitely possible and worth trying.

What do you mean "without tape?" Have you tried taping the inside of your magazine-well to insure a proper fit? Is it possible that the feeding issue isn't with the magazines themselves per se, but with the way they are locking into the rifle? My G&P rifle wouldn't eat from any magazines until I taped the inside of the magazine well to insure a proper fit.

Load half the capacity and it will feed fine. Personally I never put more than 30 rounds in any mid cap and have never had any issues.
It's when you try to cram as many bb's into one mag that the feeding problems are created. Plus if you are using more than 1,300 in a single game using a non support weapon then you're doing it wrong.
