Hello everyone from MiAirsoft, I'm new here and I'm a n00b at airsoft asking for help. So, I've just purchased a KWA KM16 SR12 and I realized that it is too hot until the 50ft range for most fields, but I'm too lazy to put in a M100 spring (it is a fine DMR though, and I do know how to get to the gearbox, since I modified the selector plate to disable full auto). So, I am going to trade for a Magpul PTS Masada, since it fires just around the 330-350 FPS range and is still accurate into the 100-150 ft. range. (if it fires above 350 I'll just get a systema M100 spring).
The problem with the Masada is that it sometimes fires a slower semi-auto sometimes when it is selected at semi-auto, and the fact that it sometimes has feeding problems with BBs.I need help on what parts to buy/what I should do.
But, I need some advice on what camo/tactical gear to buy as well. I've read through all the pinned posts in this section of the forum, and I've decided to get either Woodland or DCU, so I can play in 99% of the fields that require camo (not 100% sure on camo though). Another note is that I'm 14, and I wear XS/S.
On top of the camo, I also need everything related to airsoft (goggles/mask, tactical mask, etc.) since all I have right now is a gun, case, battery, and mags. I don't really have a set budget on this, but I probably have enough money to buy all this as I make my money from fixing Xboxes and such.
Yes I have gone to fields before (Futureball and Lone Wolf), and I am sure that I want to get into the sport as I also play airsoft games with my friends (not in public property). So could anyone give me suggestions on what airsoft gear I should buy? Linking me to some items could help.
Thanks everyone!

Welcome to the boards man, you came to the right place. I don't quite understand what it is you want from us, it seemed like you just talked about future things you want to look at getting. I guess to steer you in the right direction 3 color woodland as well as 3 color desert is never bad to have, considering majority of fields and big games are usually broken up into Tan vs. Green, and this gives you flexibility to play either end. Most fields require full face protection for players under the age of 18, so unfortunately you'll be needing to look for a paintball mask more than likely. www.ebairsoft.com/jacket-shirt-shirt-pants-c-62_33_92.htmlAbove link should solve your camouflage problem. A little searching through there should also show you some paintball masks/goggle combinations that'll work well. Feel free to ask anymore questions you may have, we'll do our best to provide you with the knowledge. -Mosin

Could I use a half mask+ goggles then, or does it have to be a paintball mask? Also, should I get a sidearm (GBB)?
Thanks, I'll take a look at the website you linked me to, hopefully there will be some XS/S stuff there.

Most places will allow and iron face and goggle combo. Its what I use and I never get any trouble. As far as a GBB that is up too you. I never use my secoundary for I only see the actual use of my AEG most of the time.

When looking at Asian websites, the sizes they list are usually more fit to the Asian frame than the American frame, so a "large" in China might fit more like a "medium" in the US. As for a sidearm, as Husky said, it's completely optional. There's a really well written guide here that outline GBB's very well, I suggest you read it over. miairsoft.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=gas&action=display&thread=31331

As for the secondary, I'll hold out for it now since the masada (PTS) I'm trading for shoots at around 330-350 FPS, since it's MiA standards for CQB.

I would second the decision to put off purchasing other guns at this point. If you have proper eye and face protection the next critical component would be load bearing gear to hold magazines, etc. From there I would recommend gloves, camo and boots. Also, when you buy load bearing gear take in consideration using it with different camo. On that note tan colors tend to be more flexible when it comes to not looking like an idiot with your gear configuration. Tan colors normally look equally fine with woodland or desert. I would stay away from black because it is much less versatile when it comes to playing outdoors.

If you're doing CQB a lot or indoor stuff£¬ I would recommend also getting a set of knee pads¡£ Allows you to slide and protects your knees¡£

BBs and concrete will destroy your knees in indoor play without knee pads as previously suggested.

Yes I recommend getting a gas blowback pistol or perhaps something like an MP7 that you can carry in a thigh holster.

Is there a different SMG? Since I really couldn't find any holsters for the MP7, I also wanted an MP9 at some point but couldn't find one as well?

MAC-11's are smaller, and generally cheaper.
