Thank you for your input, though help would have been nice. Evidently I am doing something wrong here and really just want to get a game going for all interested. To make sure I dont upset the powers that be, anyone who wants to get into this game PLEASE e-mail me at splatmandu@hotmail.com. This seems to be the only way I can break down this wall and help the game of airsoft and the community. I have asked for help on a number of threads, I have read the info on what to post but unable to locate how or where. As a field owner I would think one or two of the mods would step in to help me with this, instead I get short rude comments, not sure why, but there it is. I have all the rules, I have the place, I have the set up and props. Interested PLEASE contact me and let me know at Splatmandu@hotmail.com. as soon as you can so I can get this going. Thank you and good luck.
Ted Cross Owner Splatmandu Paintball club.

I think the breakdown here is that it appears as though you haven't really looked at how every other host formats event posts. Check out the first post in each of these threads: miairsoft.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=events&action=display&thread=44148miairsoft.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=events&action=display&thread=44123miairsoft.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=events&action=display&thread=44197miairsoft.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=events&action=display&thread=43641They're all great examples of how to format an event post. All critical information is typically at the top, and laid out in bullet point or outline format. It's not all mixed into a paragraph, which makes it very tedious to pull out the important stuff. You'll also see that these posts provide far more information than you have, including things like driving maps and directions, a schedule for the day, lunch options, scenario information, objective information, field rules, field photos and maps, uniform requirements, etc. etc. All of this stuff is important. Players have to know what to expect when coming to your field. If you can't list this information in your event post, then you probably have some more planning to do before you open the event for registration. What you can't do is bury a post 13 replies deep on a discussion thread and expect people to take it as a real event post. Take an hour, write out an event post with everything relevant to the game. Spend another half hour editing and formatting to make it as clear as possible. Give it a catchy name, format the thread title properly (using the correct REC/SCEN/MILSIM tag, date, event title), and post it in the Event Planning section.
