Just saw the date as Sept 28-30th so It's on September 29th, and September 30th. Registration opens on July 27th.
It sounds like we have more than 6 people attending so I wonder if we can register prior as a team again like we did for Northern Light.

I am considering this heavily, although money may be a bit tight, especially for the trip (gas, lodging, food, etc.). Hopefully I can make it happen, anyone down for car pooling if so? I can drive or chip in gas for a ride along with someone else if I decide to go. Would we be subject to the LC alumni price of $175? I did not see NL listed as a "3 day event" on their website which would qualify us if it was our only LC event we have attended.

Yeah Helmet, we're LC vets now so we would pay the LC alumni price.
I'm planning on attending as of right now. It looks like my quarter ends that week so I'll probably be swamped with work right up to that date. I also plan on driving down there and probably getting a hotel room for two nights. But I'd be more than willing to work with anyone else that wants to go and split a room.
So between now and the registration date hopefully we can all find out who's going, which side and figure out the logistics.

There are hotels about 10-20 minutes from MUTC - I can't remember their names since it'll be about four years since the last time I was there, but I can't stress how nice it was to get a room - Relish and I camped out the first night, and got a hotel room the second, and the difference in comfort was night and day.
Getting a sub-forum set up, ask me for the password.
EDIT: it's up.

Lost Parade has four members that are really trying to attend this event, unfortunately the people attending from our home state (Wisconsin) are not having good communication with me. With their lack of communication, I have lost faith of attending this event with them.
We all still really want to go, we have money set aside and are basically ready to go, we just have never attended a Lion Claws event. Because of this we are looking for some guidance/people to help us in attending this event.
We want to attend this event with good people, and MIA fits the bill perfectly. I know that none of you have ever met us or even played with us, but we are willing to do basically anything to attend this event. We have videos of our gamely, we could make player bio videos so you could get to know us, or even set up video chats with the people coordinating this group so that they may get to know/trust us. Transportation is not a problem at all to the event. Before anyone asks, we will all be 18 at time of the event, with the closest birthday being in early September.
Thank you.

Hey guys, a complicated question, what about this event justifies the $200 price tag? Are there vehicles? How good is the food?

At Northern Light 3 there was no food. I have no idea if this is normal for a Lion Claws event. If they do have food available I'm sure you have to pay separate for it.
Watch some videos on Irene from past years, all the cool stuff flying through the air, or fires in vehicles, etc are not done by the people paying, that is something provided by the game hosts.
