I have a single stack 1911. It's WE brand. That's two things that are huge minuses to the performance of my magazines. I'm lucky if I can get a full magazine out and the slide to lock back on a complete charge of gas. Most of the time it sputters out on the last 3 or 4 shots, which is the worst feeling ever. What is the best way to get the most shots out of a gas magazine? Are there any upgrade parts for the gun, different brand magazines, anything that can help this problem, short of buying a whole new gun?

One thing you could do, to get more gas in the magazine, is a trick that you use when filling CO2 tanks for paintball. It does waste gas however. You put gas in it, at least half way, then bleed it off fast. With a CO2 tank, you just release the valve. In an airsoft gas mag, this isn't a good idea. Instead, rapidly fire the gun. When it is empty, it will be really cold. Now quickly release the mag and fill it again. This will get the most non expanded liquid propane in the mag. The colder the mag, the less it expands to gaseous form. The more liquid, the more shots you will get.
