How easy would it be to make an electric auto-winder for Hi-Caps? I know some Hi-Caps have winding key slots, but for those that don't, would it be really hard to make something that you could rig onto the bottom and just press a button to make it run?

Cordless electric screwdriver with a rubber attachment of some sort. Or! You could buy mid caps and not wind anything.

That was what I was thinking about, something in that design, just cheaper, and probably with a button. It's for a big old box mag, although I want it to be semi-portable to an m4 mag.

It's $25. If you're trying to go cheaper than that, you should probably just wind your high caps by hand.

Came with the gun. Might as well put some usability to it. (Cause no one's probably going to buy it)

Point taken. At that point....you would need a really small motor in order to make it work. AA batteries would not last very long if it was large.

Maybe try an RC hobby shop for the motor?
