Hey fellas, Put this in the accessory section as I plan on adding this to my BASR. Now I have the plans for how to attach...above scope, adding cross hairs in animation...blah blah blah. As for the big dilemna I need to figure out how to protect her. I am not using a Go Pro, but rather a handy cam. Any ideas on how to protect the lenses and body? I saw a few vids on youtube, but unfortunately am unsure of what was actually used. I believe it was some kind of plastic on the sides, but as for protecting the lense, some kind of glass. Any thoughts fellas? Here is a link: www.youtube.com/watch?v=OFcwRik1Lnc

I would say you could use plexiglass but this may scratch easily. It's cheap enough to replace though if it does become scratched. That would probably be the most readily available and cheapest solution for building an enclosure for it. Easy to work with and very strong. I'm sure there are people that are going to have much better solutions for you though.

Evike has this contraption... You could use this concept if rail mounting is an option, but all and all same concept as fission has said.

This applies to any threads that have been left dormant for two weeks or longer. Exceptions include Commerce threads that have not been declared as inactive, Retailer Reviews threads, and Buyer/Seller Ratings threads. "all in all same concept" tells me that you knew that this was not something genuinely new, constructive, and useful. Have a warning.
