I have been looking into getting a Surefire G2 styled flashlight for airsoft. I have also been looking at getting a foregrip mount for it. I was wondering if anybody had any experience with these, and which are of the best quality. Right now I'm leaning toward the CAA FGA. I have heard that they have some problems holding up on RS weapons, but this should work fine for airsoft, right? Thanks for any and all input guys.

You should also be able to use any 1 inch ring mount, in particular I think Daniel Defense makes an offset one that is popular. Pretty sure there's already a clone of it, but the real DD mounts usually aren't that much more expensive.

No problem. I haven't really had to use it for real steel applications (once during MOUT training,) but there are plenty of LE/mil instructors who run the VTAC mount and G2 (with LED bulb) combination on real steel.
