This sounds very much like Jays 2nd field that's opening shortly. It's in the same area.

I love the idea of a store that I could actually run over to and pick something up on the spot. That part is awesome, but the only thing I question is the quantity of CQB arenas in the area. Do we really have enough people playing indoor regularly to support all of these?

You've got my attention. I'm guessing Americana will also be stroking himself to this thought tonight.

Me and a group have been to Eastside the past 3 weeks continuously. We may be going here as well in the near future. Have not tried Phoenix yet, or CQT, but would love to play those sometime to see how they are as well. I think the more fields and options we have the better. I noticed that Phoenix, Eastside and CQT have mostly overlapping scheduling. I think that is the biggest downside about having multiple fields at the moment. Not that there is much they can do about it, open weekends only only leaves you so many sessions. I just wish there were enough people playing to warrant these fields being open more days.

Looking forward to a new center! Especially looking forward to having a better stocked Airsoft store in the area.
My only questions is, being off 696 & hoover, where exactly did you guys find the space? I'm fairly familiar with the area, but I can think of anywhere a building that size could spring up, as its mostly commercial business and residential, so converting a warehouse space isn't exactly practical.

Ladies and Gentlemen, This is Thadius, the CEO of ATS LLC.. I wanted to toss out a special "Thank You" to Jason for becoming our resident airsoft professional as well as the Chief Operating Officer for ATS! Welcome Jason Piler!
I'd also like to let you know about our first event!!!! ... we are planning for an indoor IPSC-style event.. we intend to run an "Outlaw Format" so that everyone gets an opportunity to "run what they brung" - We will separate the event into a Pistol class and a Carbine/Rifle class. AEGs and GBBs will compete against each other this time, and all stages are able to be completed with no more than 15 rounds fired, no stage will require more than two magazines for your weapon. (This time around) - In the future, "more official" matches will be held with classes separated by age or skill level, GBB separate from AEG, Pistol from Rifle/Carbine etc...) We intend to get the ACA involved with future matches and to get the ACA involved in the state of Michigan!!! This will mean the Michigan Airsoft community will get represented in the ACA!!! We also plan to do some really cool stuff, like run the occasional "special stage" where we provide "special weapons" for you to use in completing the match... what this means, is you may face a "Sniper stage" where you use a scoped rifle, we provide, to hit a target, or use a spring pistol to "Ring the Bell" before you are allowed to move on.. you may need to dump an entire 250 round mag from an M249 we provide... again, all that cool stuff is coming in the future! For now, we need to gauge response and get started shooting!!!! So, should we run a match this Sunday (the 8th of April), and put out driving directions etc.. in advance? And if we do, how many of you will come? This is a "For Fun Event" - Bring your Wife, Kids, Mom, all your friends, etc... anyone can win money and we want to introduce you to your new field before we even put the walls up! ....or, would it be better for all of you if we wait and hold the event the following weekend, Sat/Sun the 14th and 15th, with practice nights held on next Wed and Thu the 11th and 12th? BTW -- For these initial "Outlaw Matches", we will be using the "Wilson Scoring Method".. we take the list of final scores and split it into thirds.. the top scoring third is the "A" Class, the next "B" and the final third is the "C" class.. each class winner will receive a Cash payback this time, and if we get enough people signed up for future events, - AIRSOFT GUNS AND ACCESSORIES WILL BE AWARDED AS PRIZES!!!! (We will only award awesome guns and gear, no crappy prizes - in the future there will be door prizes and special events with prizes)!!!! For this initial event, we are charging only $15.00 to compete, and if you wish to "shoot through" a second time, it's a $5.00 cost, if you want the next run through to count for score, it's $15.00 again. For our first match, only cash will be awarded, and it will go to the top person in each class (for this first event, payout to winners is based on number of competitors). As word spreads and we grow, we will have full on gaming and matches with more prizes and money paid out, and offer training by top pros and real Special Forces/SWAT personnel, League nights, a fantastic pro shop with full service repair and airsoft upgrades by an airsoft professional.
Just so you can have it in view. Prices
To compete $15.00 per scored run. Only 2 allowed. $5.00 to play another run, however score will not count.
Dates (This depends on you guys, the tournament on the 14th and 15th is happening for sure. Weather we play this weekend depends on how many players sign up.) Are we playing the weekend of the 7th and 8th of April? (This weekend)
