Has anyone ever heard of this place? www.cqtusa.com/main/Default.aspxI searched for "cqtusa", and" close quarters tactical" and nothing came up. Looks like it could be cool from the pictures.

I've heard of it and I planned on attending a game there. It's a larger indoor arena so it's CQB but there's actually some room and instead of 10 yard shots its more like 20-25 yard shots. I plan on attending there soon.

I know Mopedman works there now. But I haven't seen any events posted in the events section. So I'm not sure how many people they have that regularly attend their airsoft games.

I went, talked with Mopedman a bit as well while there. The arena is SMALL. Very cramped. They have a different set-up all the time though, with a large boom crane moving around some modular shipping containers. I only went the one time, but it felt like its hit or miss with the field + how many people show up.

Really the guy I talked to on the phone said he had been to eastside and phoenix and said it was larger. The length of the field is about 4.5-6 shipping containers, and the width is about 2-2.5 wide. Much of the field was not being utilized when I was there, due to a rather odd setup with the shipping containers.

I have been there a few times. Honestly it's my favorite place so far.
It all comes down to what you actually want when you are playing. They run games very well and they have a ref sit up high on a container monitoring the whole game which I appreciate. Nothing bothers me more than people not calling hits and here they enforce that really well. If you get caught they make you sit out a game and if you get caught again you are out for the day. At least that is how they did it when I went last.
It was a great time. It's an open field and I do think is pretty big. Phoenix has a great environment and the people rock. It's different as it has small tight corners and rooms. So comparing them is not really applicable. One is very cqb the other offers more distance and less cover. I have not been to Eastside so I cant speak about it other than the yourtube videos I have seen. But in those the person with the camera just went out and died over and over again so it was annoying.
For me getting shot full auto from 10' away isn't a dream. At cqt you can fire end to end as well as have cover to move. It is divided into team in the back/front. But there isn't really a bad spot. The possibility either way to take over the field is good. They have about 5/6 containers as well as drums and doors/half walls throughout the floor. It is a fast game so the games are short if everyone just runs out carelessly. It's a good place for team work and cover fire. Also blind fire is not allowed which is great.
I think I'm the product of two siblings sleeping together.. doy!, I had by birthday party there with some friends and we had a blast.
Cons: Limited rentals Hours of operation Require Full cover face protection Rental costs have gone up 18+ unless you have a guardian sign the release and provide photocopy of Parent ID
Neutral: Depending on your view. They ref pics two captains and allows them to select teams. this separates friends a lot but can still be fun. It allows a mixture of the everyday goers and casual shooters to mix so that one team isn't getting wrecked all the time.
Pros: Open floor Good size CHEAP! (if you have your own gun) $5 per hour of game play $1 per hour on mask, if you don't have one Floor Changes, they move the containers around every few weeks to change up the game Has an actual gun range if you want to shoot RS for a while RS- rentals
Games, *Force on force last team standing *Force on force one respawn *Force on force CTF *Team Defend (each team takes a turn to defend flag) defense team no respawn. *Small Teams, 2/4 players each team takes a container. Last team standing
For me this field is just about equal distance compared to the others, so when my friends and I want to just go out we usually go here.
