Hey I recently got these XTM rail covers but I'm not really liking them so I thought I'd see what you guys think about them. My G&P MK18 With XTM rail covers Without The only thing I like about them was the free magpul sticker Once you get theses on they are the biggest pain to remove.

I like them, but you don't need them all across the rail.

Meh. Go without. Get some standard KAC's or Ladder covers.

I like the solid blacks on side rails for short guns, but I don't think they look that good otherwise.

I like them fine. The trend in RS though is now toward lighter more narrow rails where you just add sections of rail where you need it. Hopefully we'll start seeing that show-up more in airsoft. I know Madbull has the Troy TRX line, but I think we'll see more of those types of light rails in the future.
All those rail covers just add weight, but there is the need to protect the rail edges from damage. I favor rail ladders myself. Low profile, low weight.

Meh. Go without. Get some standard KAC's or Ladder covers. ^^ This definitely. I've used both and the ladder covers are amazing. Nice, low-profile, and provide a really good grip for your fingers/gloves.

They are a bit bulky if you have a wide RIS...if you have something lower profile like Noveske or Larue the round profile form by running XTM all around is actually pretty comfortable.
I do recommend stippling them, the stock one is a bit slippery compare to say, Tangodown rail cover...

I say you leave it blank or go for some Ergo/Magpul Ladders.
