How much interest is there in Michigan, when it comes to Vietnam War stuff? As in, does anybody else have a particular interest in the Vietnam era, own a Vietnam war loadout/partial loadout, and are there any AIRSOFT Vietnam games here in Michigan?
My Vietnam era loadout is starting to come together and I would like to be able to use it. Even a simple, "Yeah I have Vietnam Airsoft interests" would satisfy me.
Thanks.

To be honest I haven't heard of many Vietnam era games happening in MI, there have been some, but few that I know of (maybe there is, I just don't pay attention if so).

There have been a few Vietnam themed games over the year. The one Vietnam theme event this year, Operation Tailwind ( miairsoft.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=events&action=display&thread=38014) was canceled due to extremely poor weather. The problem with pre-modern events (WWII, Vietnam, "Red Storm Rising" Cold War, etc) is that few people have the loadouts needed to make them authentic. Most games are just Vietnam-themed in that the teams and objectives are, loosely, based on the Vietnam (or whatever) era. In general, people seem a lot more interested in modern kit. Obviously, the current geopolitical situation provides a lot of fodder for geardos and others who are into the latest and greatest military kit. Having run WWII kit (82nd Airborne) in the past and since I'm preparing for Operation East Wind (Cold War), I'm definitely interested in historical loadouts and games. Unfortunately, it's hard to find a large enough group of people to have truly authentic scenarios.
