Hello, I have been playing airsoft for a while now, and make a long story short, I would like to upgrade to a better sidearm.
I was looking and two guns that caught my eye and imagination were the kjw 1911 single stack KP007 CO2 ready, and also the KJW glock 23 green gas. I've heard GREAT reviews on both, same price, and same durability (atleast from the reviews). now i love both models, but the 1911 just seems to stand out, becuase it is CO2 ready and has a slightly more realistic snap when the slide is released. Now if anyone has any experience with either of these, please give me your 2 cents, or if you would get one of these rather than the other, and for what reason? Thank you.

CO2 guns are usually a bad idea. They often shoot too hot for close range engagement and run into durability problems early. CO2 is a higher pressure gas and thus puts more stress on the mechanism of the gun leading to premature breakage. On top of that, CO2 is more expensive and more of a hassle than propane, which is what you would use in any other KJW gun.
Now, between the propane usin' models of the KJW 1911 and Glock , it's mostly a toss up. The 1911 uses a single stack mag, so you're going to see more cool down effect and lower gas capacity compared to the glock. But that's really the only major difference. Both are fine guns for the money. Not the best available, but certainly better than some. Whichever one you like the look and feel of more will serve you as well as the other.

From what I understand, KJW M1911s can use both propane/green gas and CO2 magazines.
My buddy (Whitewizard915, if you want to PM him yourself) has a KJW "KP07" 1911, which he runs exclusively on CO2. It chronos around 330 with CO2.
During his first or second skirmish the blow-back unit (BBU) cracked. This was on a fairly cold day. The KJW BBU is slightly different from TM variants and as a result my buddy had to wait until ASGI got the KJW BBUs back in stock. He bought three replacements and fixed his pistol. Since then he has skirmished it several times (less than 5) with no problems.
Compared to my propane WE 1911, the KJW 1911 has a very snappy kick.

Hey man, both are equally leveled on performance, I would go with the Glock as my personal choice.
Im getting the Glock 23 in a week or two, if you want i could give you some feedback. I already own the KJW 1911. It has nice recoil to it, but it doesn't hold a lot of gas.
