You need to ditch the arm on your SEAL lid and replace it with either an L2G05 or a L4G23 or G24. Also, get some SEAL NODs if you're going to wear NODs.

Fairly certain those are real nods so I don't think he'll be replacing them any time soon.

I agree. If those NODs are real, replacing them just because it will make the kit look better is ridiculous. That lid with legit PVS-14's will still be 100x cooler than the kids running around with lolFMA GPNVG-18's.
I do think that the arm should probably be swapped out for a Wilcox or something along those lines.

Why do people switch out the Arms used for NVGs if they have ones that function just fine? Is it for looks or do some function better than others?

Because Rhino arms are the Cymas of the NVG world quality and function-wise.

Because Rhino arms are the Cymas of the NVG world quality and function-wise. Oh I see, I've never really had any encounters with NVGs to where I would need to learn about them.

Haha yea as much as I'd like a pair of 15's/ANVIS/GPNVG's I'll have to stick with my 14's till I win the lottery or something As for the arm yea I would like to swap it out but NV kit is really expensive over here in the UK and a full wilcox setup would cost me around £300-400 ($600ish??) So again that'll have to wait, however as a stop gap I switch over the replica wilcox from the Bump lid during the day so it looks a bit closer. Thanks for the advice tho, comments always welcome!

Finally got around to painting and fixing up my bucket as best I could. I have neglected my gear recently due to college and a busy life. Also apparently I have a crack in my camera lens, so sorry about some of the blurriness. I generally try not to upload subpar pictures, but Im so happy I finally finished mine that I just had too. Still waiting on a new harness system, need to make some money first.

Updated my IBH with some lights. On the way is a pvs-14 working replica and new ratchet strap arm for the helmet. THEN I think I'm done beside a new harness for it maybe.

Holy V lites Gunslinger someone might mistake you for an airplane if you turned all those on at once! Pretty slick job on the velcro bud, I like the two track idea, completes the look well in my oppinion.
