Should I get the Smith & Wesson NBB combat master for $68 or the GBB P229 for $70? Help!

Save your money and get a decent gun. Look at it this way... a Glock 18c at airsoft toys is 130 bucks. A Tac Master at Airsoft Toys is 120 bucks. Can’t recall where but some US dealer sells a KSC M11 for 125 bucks. All three of these guns are 10 times better then the two you just listed, and compared to most GBBs very cheap. Save your money and buy something worth your money... I would highly suggest the KSC M11, its heavy, realistic, and has wicked firing operation. I will get one next spring when it warms up a bit.

those are very good guns (that viking listed) but theyre more complicated than you might want. Some people get a glock 17, almost identical to the 18, just because they dont want to deal with worrying about the full and its complications. those are cheaper too. 130 is the best ive seen for a glock 18 in US. Airsoft shop had one for 100, if you dont count shipping. Im still glad I got the upgrades and sh!t for 195. so sweet to fire. nice recoil with that metal. now i just need a hicap and im ready to take on you micro uzi and m11 punks.

Listen to Mr Viking. Sure the cheaper GBB's do sound tempting when you're short on money and REALLY want some new airsoft goodness. But in the long run you'd be MUCH happier you saved up a little more and purchased a higher quality item.
After holding and firing Viking's Tactical Master at our last game I would go for that gun right away if I had any extra money to throw around. rroawww@that gun
I think Airsoft Atlanta has a nice KSC Sig GBB for $100. I likes the look of it.

I'm not sure what kinda gas gun I need now. I'm thinking a KWC Walther P99 for $99 from Airsoft Atlanta. Plus they carry extra mags for it, and that's why I wouldn't buy the Sig 226 they have (since they don't have any extra mags for that). Oh wells...gas guns don't even work in the cold, so I'll be using my USP springer for backup anyhoo.

Yea, gas guns should be left in the indoor battlefields for the up coming cold months. For out door games a springer will be more effect, just do tot eh fact that gas guns wont function, hell it was like 55 at our event and the gas guns where screwing up. To make a springer effective it takes lots of discipline and training, you need to make sure your shots count, because if you don’t get the kill with that first shot most likely your dead facing the superior fire power, for instance… my M4. I too am going to purchase a good springer, just for the fact that things do go wrong with AEGs in the field, high caps do jam, and batteries do die, so a back up is almost a necessity. Even if it’s just a 15-dollar springer, its better then having nothing.

Exactemungo! I agree with having a backup, in fact I think I might just throw bb's if my primary and secondary broke!

a guy in the last game i played was doing that... his aug died and he didnt have a backup. so, he threw handfuls of bbs. seems like a waste, but i guess since they dont cost much its not too bad.

Eh? There's no such thing as a Sig pistol with burst fire and stock...I think you're talking about the M93R. I was interested in the one they sell at AA, since it is so cheap and comes with the stock. Course I'm also addicted to Berettas ;D

You can find better prices than AA. Plus AA only sells the Omega M93R. Though I am interested in this burst Sig.
