So I was just about to sell my TM SPAS 12, but I realized that I like it way too much. It is just way too fun to run around and get up close and personal with a shotty, rather than shoot people from afar with AEGs. The only reason that I was considering selling the SPAS was its lack of performance on the field. I've been doing some research as far as possible upgrades are concerned, but everything that I have found is out of stock, except for a set of tightbore barrels which I will probably pick up. I was wondering if anyone has seen some of the spring upgrades in stock anywhere, or if they take regular AEG springs, which I'm pretty sure that they don't. Here are some of the upgrades that are out of stock which I would like to get my hands on... www.dentrinityshop.com/den_search.jsp?sby=3&sstr=spas%2012&pg=2&rpp=10

If Dentrinity is the only place you found parts, that's probably not a very good sign. They're well known for having a wide variety of parts on their site, but also for not removing parts that are no longer available. If they don't carry it, there probably isn't anyone else who does. Only other suggestion I have would be to start scouring the internet for airsoft sites in Asia (not any of the Chinese/Hong Kong sites) because that's your best bet. Maybe a place in Japan or the Philippines MIGHT, but that's a pretty long shot. The TM SPAS has been out for a number of years, and there really hasn't been much demand for upgrade parts as far as I'm aware.

SPAS 12 parts are pretty much gone. I recently bought one myself and I looked pretty much everywhere. Places that had parts listed in stock always sent me an email saying they were out of stock.
I was able to find those barrels in stock you are talking about. I was also able to find a few downgrade springs, but that was all.
You might be able to have a spring custom made. Call local machine shops and see if they can help. The problem with upgrading the spring is the sears probably won't handle it for long. I would assume the sears are plastic. I would also assume they are designed to fail after a certain FPS much like the VSR10 sears. If you want to boost the FPS I wouldn't go much higher than stock.
The SPAS 12 isn't a very upgradeable platform anymore. It's a real shame that aftermarket companies stopped producing parts for them.
