I haven't completed my transaction with AirsoftSmith yet, but I wanted to post what's gone down so far because they've been great.
I placed my order last night, but opted not to get a few things because money's a little tight. Then this morning, I unexpectedly sold a piece of gear for a nice chunk of change. So I called up AirsoftSmith this morning to see if they could add on what I had previously left off, since I now had the money for it. After I left a message and sent an email, I received an email stating that my package was processed and being sent out. Almost immediately after the first email, I got a voice mail and another email telling me that my order had been packed but not yet sent out, so they pulled it, added my extra stuff and just needed me to call and verify my credit card info. I called them, got everything squared away, and my package should be heading out shortly.
I've gotta say, that's some great service on their end. I interrupted their standard work flow with a special order which is entirely my fault, and they were more than willing to make it happen. Assuming my package doesn't take a month to get to me and has all the right stuff, I'd have to say that they've demonstrated some of the best customer service I've come across in a long time. I know selling more stuff makes them more money, but adding items after the fact like that is also a huge pain in the ass, so you've got to give them credit for going the extra mile for a customer.
If everything goes smoothly the rest of the way, I'll definitely be ordering from them again.
