I just got it! Mother of God I just got it.
My Maruzen Remington M1100 GBB Shotgun. This isn't the normal gun, it is equipped with a metal receiver and barrel. It is also upgraded to use Red gas and shoot a lot faster than the stock gun. It also came with 20 shells, a shell catcher, shell holder and a shell holding sling. All this for $500. You might think I overpaid, but let me tell you this: I've changed my pants twice since I've gotten it.
You want to see it? Well it looks like you will just have to attend Op: Rapid Response and see it for yourself...the hard way.
The gun is extremely solid, it could fool anybody that it is the real steel. The shells load with no problem and I can't wait to gas it up (no gas here at college, WHAT A BITCH!).
It is supposed to be able to use all 10 bb's in the shells with good performance, I have to wonder what happends when I only use one. In the next few weeks I am going to buy a few more shells and another gas tank (just in case I run out on the field), also a new Firefly high-flow valve has just come out for the M1100. I swear this gun will make me broke faster than college.

Thought they already come with the metal barrel and body. Look=> click hereEither way, I can tell you're very happy with the purchase. Can't wait to see that thing, and have you shoot me in the back with it. *me rubs sore back from pain inflicted by Minky's Micro Uzi*

Ohhh, lucky Ed! Don't you live in dorms though? I sure wouldn't want to have that thing around at school, that's a good way to get kicked out.... Anyway, you better get some gas and try that puppy out soon. I'm interested to know how it performs with a full load of BBs in each shell. I know it will be evil with just one per shell though, ouch! Hado: Heh, did that burst I gave you actually hurt? If so, I'm sorry I've never been shot with that gun, so I don't know what kind of power it has, but if it hurt from that distance, it must be shooting pretty hard. Can't wait to use that thing in some CQB, mwahaha ;D

I have the long version (that holds 8 shots), it doesn't normally come with the metal parts. The shorty comes with the metal parts, but doesn't have the mag capacity that I was interested.
The gun was delivered to my dorm, but quickly was transfered to my fraternity. Don't worry, I won't be arrested today. But (like always) I don't know about tomarrow.
I'm thinking of only using 5 or 6 bb's outside so I will get better accuarcy and loose spread (to make the shots worth something).
Ahhhhhh! I can't wait! Anyone want to skirmish after Combat Missions? C'mon Ann Arbor isn't that far...I'll pay for real gas and green gas...I might even let you hold it for a while...maybe.

Minky: I was really surprised by that little Micro Uzi's power too! Packed way more punch than your Super 90, but I don't really know what the distance was when you shot me with that thing though so I could be wrong. All I know is...Micro Uzi = Pure Evil!

Distance was pretty much the same for both guns; top of hill down to bottom. Man, all this Micro Uzi talk has me wishing I would've kept the second one I bought....Just imagine 2 of those things going full auto and spewing out 100 rounds in less than a couple seconds, mmmmmmmm.
Ed: I should come up and see you some time, or you come down here. We could examine guns, shoot AOL CDs, and have a grand old time, I have nothing else to say. You should see if your dorm or frat house would allow a CQB game or two inside.... ;D

I went home over the weekend and gassed it up for the first time. Good range and alright spread using 134a gas...I'm expecting better since I just made an order for Red Gas from the thiefs at Airsoft Atlanta.
By the way, what's your sisters name? If shes greek I'll prolly know her.

Man I realy want to see that m1100. I spied it on RW.com, looks a lot like a marine magnum. How much does it weigh?
PS Damn the Frats damn then to hell, well maybe not. If I ever get out of this hellhole, maybe then I would feel different. What kind of frat is it anyways?

I live in a traditional fraternity (read: party frat), Delta Kappa Epsilon. George Bush and W. are both brothers of the Yale chapter. Not to mention RB Hayes, Teddy Roosevelt and FDR, even Gerald Ford at U of M. Dick Clark, George Steinbrenner, Gary Trudoe (the guy who writes Dunesbury), NY govenor, AL govenor, AK govenor, Joe Paterno, FEDEX CEO Fred Smith...wait a minute, I'm rambling.
The gun is pretty heavy and very solid. I also just got "Red Gas" for it too.
Don't dis frats. I just reaped the awards of my house just last night...

Ed, her name is Marianne Smith, and her boyfreind is Dan Grano. She's in Martha Cook (preppy dorm for girl's). She was studying business and also some history. But she's a geek alright. That would be cool if you knew her. She's actually going to go on to become a minister after Michigan. Anyways, Ed, siblings weekend is the weekend of March 7-10. So I'll be stopping by. Hehe, small world.
