My friend is looking to start building a high performance sniper rifle and seeing as how I don't know much about them I figured I'd ask more knowledgeable people about it around here.
Basically, we're looking at a CA M24 at this point but I've got know idea the kind of parts you'd have to put into one to make it a very accurate rifle from long range (250-300ft).
Suggestions on parts and brands along with rifles types would be appreciated.

If you struggle to find some answers, PM Dutton. I believe he has/had a CA m24 and has quite the bit of knowledge pertaining to that rifle.

The cheapest and easiest platform to work with is a TM VSR (JG Bar compatible as well). You'll want to start with hop-up and barrel upgrades for accuracy and range. Then move to power/reliability by working on your piston, spring, spring guide, piston head, and trigger sears. Some people will suggest a new cylinder, but in actuality cylinders aren't a necessary upgrade part until the one you have just doesn't cut it anymore (or breaks). I'd be happy to talk specifics with you if you want to PM me.

I'll have let my friend know that you're interested in helping him out and have in him make an MIA account and get in contact with you. I appreciate your willingness to lend a hand Koko.
