From what I understand you may not ever get your stuff back. You could go up to the department and ask politely. As for being at the park late, I really doubt they'll do anything considering it was only 15 minutes.

Take a look at what you just said: You were in the public park after it was closed. You were playing in public. You were playing in a place where people could have come by where you were without eye protection. Personally, I hope that you don't get any of your stuff back, and that you do get charged with something, because you obviously deserve it. You are everything that is wrong with people under 18 playing airsoft. And according to your profile merk321, you are an adult. Start thinking like one. I've retitled this thread, and I'm going to sticky it as a shining example of how retarded playing on public property is. You could have easily been shot and killed by the police. Think about that next time. Or, just GTFO of our sport and don't have a next time. |

I really don't enjoy it when I hear about people that aren't 18+. I'm 16 it's hard enough to get people to accept you as a responsible airsofter, things like these just don't help younger airsofters such as myself. Please before you do things like this think about the consequences, not only the consequences towards you but the consequences others suffer too.

Naw, Kiki, he was calling the OP a dick and citing Thor for the reason. Though I don't think he should be calling the OP a dick, it's hard to come down on him because A) everybody else is doing pretty much the same thing, and B) the comment was at least a little tongue in cheek.
Maybe you know all this already, and still don't like it. So I'm not going to undermine your warning. But if you thought he was calling Thor a dick, you should probably bump it back down.

17 dude. Wow, I'm 20 and you look at least as old as me. It's the neckbeard. At any rate, these are the EXACT instances that will be the end of our sport. Sure, this guy did something pretty dumb. That's why it's OUR job to educate him, rather than shun him and let him make the same mistakes twice. Either straighten up, or leave the sport. That rule should apply to everyone. For a first offense though, I think this thread will teach him what he needed to know for him to apply a little bit of common sense next time. That, and having all his stuff taken away. I mean, at some point, I'm sure each one of us have played somewhere less than appropriate. I know I have, I just didn't get caught. After joining the community, and seeing how many good, fun, and welcoming people love this sport, I realized how me doing so put said sport into direct danger of being abolished. |

Yes, I understand he was calling the Op a dick, and that's why I gave him the warning. The other people in this thread were not as direct with their "attacks" (if you can call them that) and simply said that the act of playing in public was really dumb, not specifically that the op was dumb (although it was somewhat implied...). Either way, Marshy's comment was a direct attack any way you look at it and so I stand behind my warning. |
