I think that instead of making 100 versions of the same gun (like WA and TM), Japanese companies should invest in making the more interesting and common weapons that are in service today. (My vote is for the Five-seveN).

i like the Five-seveN (real steel), because it has a 20-round mag of those wonderful 5.7 rounds i love so much and it looks cool. an airsoft version would be nifty.

I voted Makarov because I think airsoft needs a little more of a Russian taste. We have a few AK's but what else is there for the Rushkies? Tell me if I've missed something. AAAHHHH I WANT THIS SO BAD!!! Airsoft Extreme custom gun

Sig P226 or a P228 (quality models. not KWC) i'd also like to see a few GBB semi auto shotguns...with drum magazines. a version of the Maruzen MP5K on which the bolt/breech blows back

Marushin makes a Walther P38, though it's only a NBB model with a fixed slide. MGC once made a HK P7, but they're very hard to find these days. Check out a review here. Looks superb, I can see why they'd be so rare..I know I wouldn't want to sell mine if I owned it. I voted for the Five-Seven, but I would rather have other guns not on ye list. Edit: Tanaka good!

I know of the P38 and the P7. But the P7 is a hard find and getting fresh valves or extra mags is also hard. NBB's never have the quality or detail of GBB (who would spend a lot of money for a good quality NBB?). The P38 is a brick in your hand and I would like a gun that reflects that.
Airsoft Manufacturers have brought back guns before (Mac 11)

Bigmack: I thought the Maruzen MP5K's bolt does cycle. Even the promo ads for it said "The moving bolt, Hard and Speedy." Edit: Check out a review here, it includes a small video. Looks like it's moving to me...speedy sucker that thing is too!

hrm...the video i have of an MP5K by Maruzen clearly shows a locked bolt....interesting... could just be the frame rate of the camera, tho...too fast for the frames to catch it...

I heard the bolt blow back but doesn't have a catch to stop the gun when it runs out of ammo. To me there seems like no advantage to having the MP5K GBB. I would just say get a TMP.
What other guns would you like to see (not listed)?

I'd like to see the infamous "street sweeper" turned into a GBB. I'd also like to see the Pancor Jackhammer.

I'd like to see a few more WWII weapons, like the M1919 Browning Machine Guns, air cooled and water cooled. Definitely an airsoft Garand, would be a nice compliment to my real one...cough cough...
On a less serious note, how about one of those GE Mini Guns in airsoft...talk about bruises...

As far as a street sweeper- they have a NBB gas shotgun that has a pistol grip and a really short barrel. It is made by Maruzen and isn't that expensive. I don't think any other types of gas shotguns are going to be made, Maruzen and Marushin only make them and they aren't in the "big three."
They do need to bring back a "superior cannon." They did make a GE Model 134 "Vulcan" Cannon replica. It used gas and was very rare. The best thing is that you could take a paintball nitro tank and hook it up in the back and get thousands of shots without refilling.

I wonder if somebody will ever get the idea to make an Airsoft Cannon, where it has one giant plastic BB/Cannon Ball. Screw the bruises, we're going for amputation now
