Work in progress, with my Xbox in for repairs, I am incredibly bored at night now (Just took this picture about a half-hour ago).

Trust is correct. They were issued in the mid to late 80's and up through the Gulf War. They were designed to obscure you in older generations of NVG's (PVS-2's and Soviet equivalent), but by the time it was put into use both us and the Soviets had already developed better NVG's. So instead of obscuring you, it actually had the effect of lighting you up even brighter than winter snow camo. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Desert_Night_CamouflageSo, while it's totally ineffective for its intended purpose, it still looks sweet as hell. Plans are to eventually RAID mod the jacket. The jackets themselves are very long as they're meant to be worn over your desert camo, so once you cut it down to a more proper jacket length there's quite a bit of material left over for creating shoulder pockets and such. It's quite a bit of an undertaking, so for the time being I may just attach some velcro on the shoulders and call it good. I've also got a pair of the pants that goes with it that I will eventually get some proper pockets installed (since the jacket and pants are meant to go over your uniform, they just have slits to allow you to reach the pockets on your BDU's).

That Mk. 46 is pretty sweet. And I have nothing else to say at Dingo's photobomb in the last pic.

I am usually not a fan of support weapons, but that mk46 is amazing. Good job!
EDIT: To the guy holding the Mk. 46 in the last pic, is that really where you keep your glowsticks? That seems it would be rather....uncomfortable.

They move around a lot, but they don't hurt or anything.
