Thanks, Pariah. It's turned into a pain in the ass at this point though. I never really finished it when I was building it, and that was about 6 years ago now. I always wanted a different compensator and mag well, along with a few other touches (cocking handle, slide stop, safety, the little stuff you know?), but you can't get any of that stuff for it any more. Shortly after I put together what I've got, WA switched to the SCW system, and everybody stopped making parts for the older magna guns. So it's pretty much relegated to a 400 FPS wall hanger, but I still love it.

One thing I've been meaning to do is buy a TM 1911 and start upgrading it like that. If I wasn't in need of a new primary right now, I'd already be on it. Damn airsoft, and my lack of money...

Nice! I definitely like it a lot more than I like Multicam, but not sure if I like it more than MARPAT. Maybe when reasonably priced ATACS gear comes out I might jump on board.

Top was $59.99 I believe, may have been $69.99. Normally they have the bottoms tagged the same as the top, rarely they're $10 less, but normally the same.
Material felt great, I thought about buying a set for a split second, but the idea of paying $120+ for bdu's that are so new most events won't allow them, changed my mind.

I'm wearing my ATACs on my girlfriends balcony. I don't have any gear on, but I'll throw some on when I get home later this weekend. I feel like a BAMF though, ATACS's are sweet.

Do any of the US forces wear ATAC yet? If not who will?

No branch uses it yet, but Digital Concealment Systems (DCS) intended ATACs to be made to replace ACUs, so my best bet would be that ATAC's will be marketed to the grunts.

No one wears ATACS yet. Whether they will or not is anyone's guess. My gut tells me that for the Army to decide to switch from ACU to Multicam after only about 7 years of use, they're not going to want to spend the money on yet another pattern. And at least with multicam it will be decently effective across a wide range of environments.
Not that ATACS isn't good, but I'd expect to see much more use from law enforcement agencies, both state-level and federal. They generally have a little more wiggle room with that sort of thing.

I don't know for sure what side it would be on (I'm going to say tan for now) but I can guarantee it will be accepted at Armory Airsoft events. Unless there's an even that has strict, specific camo requirements of course.
