I was wondering if someone could give me some good advice on a cheap, hands free communication system that I could use during airsoft games. I tried looking over the Internet but all the legitimate setups that I have seen are over $100 and way out of my price range. If anyone can give me some good advice on this I'd really appreciate it. Thank you ;D

Chaffin, Thanks I took a look at the both of them. They still look a bit pricy though. I found this headset for pretty cheap and I was wondering if you could tell me if i needed anything else to connect it to the talkabout or if it already had everything it needs included. This is the headset... www.airsoftpost.com/product_info.php?cPath=30_135&products_id=33065

I am not sure, other than a PTT (push to talk) button. I think you can do without it, but you have to push the talk button on the radio....

Do you already have a radio or are you looking for that too? (I couldn't really gather a definitive answer)

For the one you linked to on Evike, it says it does NOT come with a PTT button, so you'd have to buy one separately. For both headsets linked to on ASGI they come with a PTT button, so you wouldn't have to buy that separately.
Now one thing to remember is that these are electronics. The cheaper you go, the cheaper the electronics/soldering/general-put-togetherness. I wouldn't be surprised if that $25 headset doesn't work when you get it, or has problems a week later. You may be just fine with it, but I'd personally try to find something better.
In fact, what you should do is looking around the Commerce section here, on Arnies, and on ASF. Often times you can find used headsets that you know will work for much cheaper than new. I was able to get a good replica Comtac-II headset with PTT button, radio, and an empty MBITR case all for $80. Before that I got a good headset like the one you linked to for all of $40 (it was the brand that goes for around $100 or so new) and it worked great. I've also bought used Motorola talkabout radios for dirt cheap, like $15.
Just look around on the Buy/Sell/Trade sections of a few big forums, and if you don't happen to find anything that meets your fancy, put up a WTB thread. As long as you're a little patient, I can almost guarantee you'll find what you're looking for.

Cqbr,
I have a motorola radio lying around the house somewhere but I don't know if it works or not so I am probably going to have to buy a new one.
Kiki,
Thanks for the advice. I was wondering if you know of any good headsets that are low profile like the ones I linked to evike, but also well made because personally am a fan of more low-profile equipment. Any help would be greatly appreciated and if I can't find anything I will definantly put a thread up on the Buy/Sell/Trade section.
