Tell you what, you secure the funding, insurance, and stock the store.
We will all come there and play.
As someone who has rented warehouse space off and on for the past 5 years (need a place to work on my cars), I can assure you that industrial space is not cheap. I could only imagine what the liability insurance would be for an airsoft field. Equally expensive would be stocking the shop. You would have to sign on with a distributor, get some sort of terms worked out, and most likely lay out cash for your initial order, up front. It's not an easy task by any means.
If you could make money hand over fist owning and operating an airsoft field, there would be one on every corner. The fact of the matter is that this is a niche sport, which is prohibatively expensive to get into (on the retail/field side). Those people you see running facilities do it out of love for their sport (in most instances).

But hey, maybe my love for this sport could progress into something other than fields and possibly go into custom gun making or upgrading services (sounds like fun but is hard work as with just about anything and I need a shitload of knowledge and experience before I'll do that). Nonetheless, I believe that there's a lot of people here on MiA (and in the nation for that matter) that think like I do (if I'm not the only one, hopefully).
