So winter is coming (a lot sooner than I'd like) and that means its that time of year again: CQB! Now before I even get into my question I'd like to say one thing: I know I don't need a GBB and that I might do better with something else but I don't really care, I'm set on a GBB SMG and I've narrowed it down to these two.
I'll list the pros and cons of each gun and then I just want opinions on which might be work out better, If you own either gun, sharing your experiences with it are appreciated.
KWA MP7: Pros: 1. Just so damn sexy. 2. About 20 bb's per second. 3. Extra mags are fairly easy to find. 4. A few accessories are already released for it. 5. Said to be the most reliable and best shooting GBB SMG produced.
Con: 1. About $50 more than the MP9. 2. Lower bps than MP9. 3. Harder to find.
MP9: Pros: 1. Also a very nice looking gun, MP7 prolly takes the cake though. 2. $50 less than MP7 3. Better rate of fire (about 30 bps) 4. Easy to find. 5. Slightly smaller than the MP7.
Cons: 1. 30 bps chews through mags quick (round-about 2 seconds to empty a mag on full auto) 2. Haven't been able to find spare mags for this gun anywhere. 3. Less accurate than the MP7.
I'm leaning slightly toward the MP7 because of its great reliability and easy to find mags but I just don't know. P.S: If anyone has either gun for sale and would be willing to sell it at Farmington CQB when they open back up, I'd appreciate a Pm. Thanks guys.

Sounds like a 'what gun' thread but I'll answer since these are new guns and there isn't much information, if any, on these forums.
Personally, I like the MP7 more. I have used it on the field for the summer and it kicks ass. The mags are easier to find and if you buy them from trinity airsoft or air armory you can save some money on them. I run it with 3 40rd mags and a 20rd mag and it works great. The Mp7 is also very easy to field strip and you don't need to disassemble the whole gun to clean it. It is very accurate. The mp7 has the force velocity engine for its gas system which is the beefed up version of the ns2 system. Also, the fact that it's licensed is really awesome.
But, one con for both guns is that in the summer they both shoot 400+fps. I have not chronographed my mp7 in the winter so I do not know if it'll will fit in cqb limits during that season, but they definitely do not meet cqb requirements in hot weather. To be able to control the fps I would suggest a ra-tech mp7 npas for the guns might be a good thing to get. The npas should work for any of the newer kwa and ksc gbbs.
I would get the MP7 because it has been in the market a while longer and there is support on forums now for the MP7 (kwausa.com forums have great info on the mp7) . It is a great gbb smg and even though you would be happy with either smg I think you'll be more happy with the Mp7.

I'm hopefully going to be posting a detailed review of the KWA MP7 within a month or two. I've used it in 3 games now, and it is absolutely fantastic. The only downside is that out of the box the range is a little low, maybe 100ft effectively, although it is very accurate (I haven't messed with the hopup to much though and am only using a very old can of green gas). The magazines can easily hold 2-3 mags worth of gas before they have to be refilled (not including gas physics). The rate of fire is ridiculous. The magazines are expensive as hell. Oh yes.. and the MP7 is solid as a rock. I fell out of a truck onto it (don't ask) and the thing wasn't even scratched. There is ZERO wobble in any of the components as well.
As for rate of fire, i seriously wouldn't even bother with the comparison, you will probably never effectively utilize anything higher than bursts on either gun. My Mp7 mag lasts a little longer than 2 seconds on full auto.

Thanks for the info both of you, I realize this prolly is a "what gun?" question but just as you said: there isn't much info out there. I'll prolly be going with the MP7 from what I was already thinkin and what you guys just said. Thanks again.

GeT BoTh Do0d. That way you can duel weild... I have nothing else to say
A gas gun is a gas gun. Just depends on how much you would rather spend.
If you get the Mp7, make sure you get extended mags for it so you can hold more gas and ammo. And buy like, a bazillion of them because that would be tits.

Yeah doOD!!! No but if I do get the MP7 (which I almost certainly will) I'll definatly be getting some high caps to go with it. Only problem: they're 50 bucks a piece . When you come up with 50 bazillion bucks you'd like to generously offer up for mags I'd be more than happy to accept. ;D -Dan

Plus shipping is fast since they're on the East Coast
