Thanks bud. I did the paintjob on the SCAR probably a good two years ago. It looks good for a rookie job but it's nowhere near the quality of ARCs work.

Hopefully I'll get some free time and follow that up with my soon to be painted Masada.

Nothing special about the gun itself. Just something I wanted to test paint, but I think it turned out fairly well. Might start throwing some upgrades into her.

Very nice, I love how much contrast there is! As someone who does a fair amount of paint jobs with nets and almost NO variation I've been wanting to try to do something really high contrast. Often, depending on the terrain or area, you'll find it will blend in better the lower contrasted guns. Typically when I paint I just lay a small piece of net over the area I'm painting, what did you do? I assume you wrapped the gun in net?

If I were you I would either make the suppressor, mag, delta ring, buffer tube, those other littler parts and the sight black or make it match the body, but that's just me.

I had an old basketball bag laying around so I took it apart an painted it in pieces (stock, optic, body, etc) The body was already tan when I bought it so all I really had to do was add The other color at different distances. *EDIT I took the gun apart, not the bag

Very slowly working on a post apocalyptic kinda kit (more for something to do than anything else) recently finished my pistol and thought I'd share, TM 226 base but weathered and hand painted... Enjoy!

Tan rattle-can plus a toothbrush and rubbing alcohol. Spray on paint, dip brush in alcohol and scrub. Harder you scrub, more paint comes off. Wipe away extra paint with a sock.

Glad you all like it It originally had a very light dusting of tan krylon but to add the other details i bought 3 different paints from Games workshop (The Warhammer paints were recommended to me and worked really well) Gun metal to bring out scratches and worn metal parts. Mud brown for the dirty look. Rusty kinda orange used very sparing! As for a guide I can't really help much as it was just trial and error really and doing what I thought looked good. Only thing I can say is lool up "dry drushing" as it really helped bring out the details. I also attacked areas with a file to add some more wear but bear in mind I've used this pistol for 2 years so it was already pretty battered I have nothing else to say

I achieved an identical look on my mag K with the method I posted.
Looks fantastic, and I love the use of warhammer paint.

Well it's spring, some people must be getting new paint for the season so this deserves a bump. Here is one I did for a teammate last fall. Only about one games worth of weathering on it. There is like 3 feet of snow outside so I apologize for the semi poor lighting. Also,
