Saved by the airborne express guy! A week and 2 days ago I ordered a KSC TMP from WGC, with an extra mag, silencer and some bbs. The total package ran me up to 360 bucks. WGC took forever ( a full week ) to ship my package, I started getting doubts and thought my money would have been better spent on an AEG package or a Western Arms gun or something. Today when I heard the Airborne Express van role up into my drive way all those negative thoughts went right away.
I quickly snatched my package from his hands ran inside got a knife and tour open the box. I lifted the lid off the gun and my jaw dropped followed by a tear dripping from my eye. It was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. I quickly held it out of the box and thought to myself, holly gezz this thing is bigger then I expect and heavier too! That really surprised me, the weight, because the gun is almost completely plastic, or at least I think, I haven’t really examined it fully yet. That bring came to the conclusion that is must have a lot of metal guts. I then looked threw the packing material and found my silencer and extra mag. The silencer hadn’t come with any type of instructions but I just pieced it together how I thought it was suppose to go and I think its right, although I have a piece I don’t know where it goes.
I then ran down stairs got some green gas, unfortunately all my bottles are just fumes, gassed up a mag filled it with bbs and went outside. The selector is integrated with the safety, the safety to the right is on safe, mid way is semi, and to the left is full auto goodness. The review at Arnies said that it was difficult to put into the semi mode because it didn’t “click” I don’t know what he meant, the gun sits in semi very firmly, you know when your in it, maybe over time this function wares out a little.
This gun is also extremely balanced. You can hold it with two hands, one hand, by the front grip, w/ or w/o the silencer and it always feels the same, balanced. This gun is not heavy on one side at all, not even with the silencer on it, so nice! Feels so natural walking around the house and peeking around corners with it, hehe, you will all fear it in CQB I am sure.
Anyway back to shooting, I left off some semi rounds and watched the bbs sail into my woods from my back door, they went straight too, even my AK with its reputation of having long range in stock form started to arch by the time it got to the fence. Not this gun, they where straight until they where out of sight. The bolt action blowing back in the gun is extremely hard for an airsoft gun; I can see why they call it “hard kick” hehe. I then switched it over to full auto, and let out a small burst of 5-10 bbs. I started giggling with joy, the ROF it was extremely fast, with just a tap on the trigger at least 5 bbs went out, I think it was more like 8 or 9 though. I then aimed at a tree and continued to empty the mag with small burst, I noticed that the longer I fired the higher the bbs went, the recoil wares on your arms this gun and will take some training and getting use to keep a tight bead.
Another thing that surprised me was the sound, this gun is loud! Sounds like a full auto .22 going of next to your ear. I am really impressed!
Looks: The gun looks great. Its almost completely plastic just like the real steel version and the finish is identical to the pictures I have seen on the net. The only thing that kind of bummed me out was the seam line on the gun. As most of you know I am a stickler for seam lines, but they are purdy unnoticeable, unless you looking for them up close you wont notice them. And here are the sexy pictures!
