I thought I would share my experience for using their site.
I've been trying to replace my CA MP5 fire selector switch. So most of the sites I searched, did not have the part for CA. I chose to pick Evike, because they had an ICS MP5 fire selector. I read somewhere it may work on a CA.
I ordered from them and the transaction was smooth.. kind of. The item took about 2 weeks to ship, and when I received it, it was clearly marked Echo1.
So I thought to myself, I might as well check compatibility. Nope, did not fit. So I called Evike to explain that they shipped me the wrong product. I got hung up on twice while being on hold for about 5 minutes each time. No big deal I guess. After about 8 tries (other times rang busy), I finally got through to someone.
I explained what happened, and he put me on hold once again. After about 5 more mins of waiting, he said he had checked with whoever was in charge of inventory. He explained they had very similar packaging and that the wrong one was grabbed. I already figured this, but thanked him for helping me out. He said he would ship the new part to me, but it was on backorder. Fearing months of waiting, I asked if it would be possible to cancel the order before it was shipped, I was told yes. There was no mention of returning the wrong part, so I kept it.
I just left my MP5 on full auto and waited a month and a half before it showed up in the mail. This one fit partially, but was the specified ICS part. At least now I can switch my fire selector on one side!
I have mixed feelings overall. This was my only transaction with them, but I am not entirely against ordering from them again. They did resolve my issue in the end and never gave me the excuse of having sent the right part (as I have read about other sites before).
At least now I can try and sell a lone Echo1 MP5 fire selector one day when my ebay items sell.
Overall: C
