Looks great Racing, I saw the rifle on Arnies a few days ago and quite like what you've done with the magpul xtms.

Kinda cool. Almost looks like alligator skin.

Very nice work as usual. I'm definitely loving the rail covers and TD grip. I also agree with you on the slippery plastic of the Glock and it looks great with the stippling. The thing that really makes it is that gorgeous slide though I have nothing else to say.
Are there any sharp points on the grip of the pistol or is it pretty comfortable?

Wow, that looks really cool. How exactly is it done?

I like the way it looks, but I'm not sure if I would like the way it feels.
But A+ it looks amazing.

Wow, that looks really cool. How exactly is it done? Basically you just take a hot soldering iron and melt the plastic into a little hole. I'll let RM fill in the details though since he's the one who seems to know what he's doing. On another note, I can't say I like it. I think the glock looks ridiculously funky stippled. However, from a performance standpoint, I can understand why you'd do it.

The texture I'd call it rough to the feel, I wouldn't call it "sharp" as don't think it'll pierce skin(maybe if you scrap across it it might). The XTM's texture is sharper because I did smaller dimpling to it. But I clean it after with a sand paper to break off the real sharp stuff on top. I find the hold to be more reassuring with it. As any have held a TM Glock can probably attest, the surface is really slippery...
All you need to do this is a soldering iron, and some free time. I'd recommand respirator or a mask, though, the fume can be nausiating....The tip I used was just a 45 deg tip about 1/8" wide. You just dig into the surface at some interval and kina over lapping your mark. The plastic is really easy to form and just repeat the process.

Do you ever do anything that doesn't come out sexy as hell?

You need to host a show called "pimp my gun" where someone brings in their cheap springers and you work your magic and make it look sweet.

Very nice, love what you did to your AR, how the stippling on the grip is exactly where you'd expect it to be.

Wow, I am very impressed. I rarely like AR's with all the Sand/DE but yours looks outstanding.
