Most likely that is a demilled bren fitted with a gearbox. Ive seen them for as little as 200, as much as a few thousand.

The key is to get a P90 hop-up and gearbox, because they feed from the top. I'm betting the mag is fixed - it's much simpler that way.

If I remember right the last demiled one I saw had the mag welded in place anyways. You'd be surprised what you can get demiled and turn into real steal, I saw an MG42 made that was for about 500 bucks, and it was way better than any 2000 dollar airsoft replica. I don't know if you can get them anymore, but there was a company that made replica resin .30, .50 and a handful of other machine guns that could easily fit a gearbox.

Sten, MP-40, MG-42, BAR, Greasegun, that neat looking russian submachine gun. etc etc etc. I think it'd have a huge market with the reenactor crowd.
I think a Sten would be hard to do because of the wire stock. There's no place to hide a mechbox so it'd have to be gas operated I'm guessing.

I know a guy who has a Sten airsoft gun. It kinda looks like a paintball gun tho. Its not an actual sten but steel made to look like one. I can post the picture if you want to see it

I've seen a ton of custom Stens made, the most basic being an MP5 with a bunch of aluminum moulded over it. It resembled a sten SMG....but it just wasnt. I'm pretty sure there used to be a classic Sten, but is incredibly hard to find and i'm sure all the Englishman have their grubby hands on them. I know you can get blank-firing shell ejecting versions, which I've heard arent too difficult to convert to gas 6mm (If you know Classic Airsoft)

If you're looking for WWII replica guns, your best bet is to source out some classics. JAC made a kickass M3A1 Greasegun, but it's highly rare. I missed my chance to buy one with tons of spare mags a few months ago and have been pissed about it since then. The JAC BAR is legendarily rare, and the mags even more so. I don't recall a classic Sten ever having been produced, but Asahi made a Sterling SMG, the real version of which was used in small numbers during WWII. Yet more interestingly, airsoftNY76 over at the ClassicAirsoft.net forums built a custom PPSh41. He put Asahi BV internals inside a real-steel kit PPsh.41 with dummy receiver. Most of the main Axis and Allies guns have been made in one form or another. Inokatsu is coming out with a new electric BAR that promises to rock hard. Marushin is also kicking ass on some blowback WWII replica guns, all in 8mm: M2 Carbine, MP40, M712, and a BrenTen(!). The future is bright for WWII enthusiasts. [Ninja Edit] Oh, and don't forget the new Ma Deuce from P3
