I think the size of the field is fine, and having a more open field would just lead to zombies being forced to run in the open with no cover, which simply means easy targets for the humans. But anyways, as far as the Bangor field goes, you could (like somebody already suggested) have the humans start in the city and have the zombies close in from all sides. Another little idea I had was to have the humans start separated into small teams/groups. So have like 5 teams of 10 guys (or whatever, depending on how many people we have) start scattered throughout the field. Then scatter zombies throughout the field too and GO. If humans find another group, then they're better off. If they don't...well...sucks for them, they're easier targets for zombification. Either way I want it to be a challenge. I think i'm just gonna roll with a team of three and see how that works out.

And you could use the storyline to say that SOF groups have been dropped in and were scattered throughout the zone that needed to be contained. On top of that the storyline can say that there are small groups of armed civilians that the SOF groups need to rally up with. (could also be an objective) And then you would have the smaller groups of players making it more difficult for them.

Exactly. That way it's not like 50 guys all at once shooting the few zombies who rush in. It will make team/squad coordination a real factor in gameplay and survival for the humans. And yeah, I like the idea of having some armed civilians (maybe like just pistols?) that the SOF guys have to meet up with and rescue or whatever.

Or the civilians have weapons, and don't want military help, or maybe with the story of dead rising, the military has to wipe out the humans to keep it a government secret.

Then what will the excuse be for the nuke, and don't you think that the government would want to prevent the spread of radiation, and it would violate our agreement about testing nukes above ground, too many things are wrong with your wimple nuke excuse what would leave the government no other choice than to send in a clean up squad to destroy the evidence.

Ahh but if you're like me and play/watch Residennt evil. You would know that the nuke's excuse was a powerplant blew up in the night. Government would use the media to cover up the N-bomb.

I have thought of that, but how many power plants do you know of in Miami? Because I know of none. And what about nuclear radiation, too many people would be affected. There are too many spy satellites to be able to officially cover it up, info would leak, and and it would be much easier to send in clean up squads and just say that there was a chemical spill (depending on size of outbreak) and say that the bodies had to be incinerated, everyone in the area of infection would have a bullet put in their skull, and then burned, elimination all witnesses and traces fo the virus.

Hey, don't look at me. Blame Resident evil's movies. Who says the outbreak would be in Miami? The government would try to cover it up somehow, and make it look like a complete accident or that some poor country did it.

Yea, the government WOULD make it a cover u, but they would use sweeper cleanup squads, not a nuke, and Canto has already dictated that this event to be in Miami.

Well the storyline should be that a radioactive hurricane blew through there, and infected all of Florida except disney, cause that place is already messed up enough.

Think about it, my plan would make it a much more realistic and simple solution.

Think about it, my plan would make it a much more realistic and simple solution. One hundred plus MPH of radioactive winds would be a killer way to ge tinfected, then you will get tossed around like a ragdoll.
