Hey guys Minky didn't make me feel like a fool...I appreciated his straight forward comments and they proved to be correct.
I do need all your wisdom one more time. I heard from Olympus Airsoft today:
"Some good news and bad news. First off it takes about 4 business days for echeck to clear. So today or monday it should clear. Bad news is we were curious on what a Guarder M3 Tac-Light would look like on a G19. So we put it on your GBB, the actual bad news is we couldn't get it off, its really stuck. So good news is, I am willing to sub to you a KSC G18C Japan Version for the same price. Is that okay with you? If it is I will send it once the echeck clears and I'll give that thing a full restore too."
So what are all your opinions....a Taiwan G19 which it sounds like I will have to waite or a Japan G18c?
Anxiously awaiting your input.

Make 'em give you the glock 19. They screwed up, you should get the gun you wanted. The glock 19 feels much nicer than the 18c. The heavyweight frame is the greatest addition to the glock series, they just need to start implimenting it on the other glocks. The 18c also has some durability problems. The full auto isn't very usefull, and it losses it's "coolness" pretty quickly.
Email them and tell them that they need to get you your glock 19 as soon as possible. You wanted your glock 19, and because of their error, you'll have to wait.
Don't straight out ask, but hint around that maybe they should just send you the glock with the tac light. After all, it was their mistake, and any good buisness would compensate you for waiting. They want your buisness again.
That's my take on the situation, anyway. I would be much more angry than it seems that you are right now.
Don't compromise. if you really want the glock 19 (and it seems that you do, you bought it), then you won't be satisfied with the glock 18c. You'll resent that you bended and accepted their weak offer. Get the gun you want, and you'll be much more staisfied in the long run.

I agree, go for the G19 that you ordered in the first place. That seems kind of fishy that they would try out the light on the glock they planned on sending to you. I doubt the light went on easy if it's stuck now, so they probably had to force it on. It's a known issue that the real M3 light is a tight fit on the G19, so I guess this carries over to the replica M3 as well. I had to actually file down the notch on my G19 frame to fit my M3 light correctly...you'd think a retailer would be aware of this issue.

I'd tell them that you want the gun they were going to send you and that you paid for, regardless of any additions or modifications they may have made while playing around with it. I'd emphasize that it's pretty irresponsible to try something out that they wouldn't know would work on a piece of merchandise that was spoken for.
If they get self-righteous about it, I'd simply let them know to send the gun and play around with their own damn G19's. ;D

I took all of your advice and indicated that I really wanted the G19 and didn't want to waite. Got a nice apology with word that the G19 would ship tomorrow. Thanks a bunch for all the help. I will let you know when I get the gun Illogical

That's good to hear! So, did they get the light off the gun, or are you getting a free light?

Jacko, you order the cheap thing and hope the expensive thing gets stuck to it. I'll be ordering one of those cheap lasers that AA sells for like 30 bucks, and hope they stick a WA SVI 4.3" limited to it

:)Gun came in today and its definately the KSC G19. Also, I think this is the Japanese version of the gun. All the documents are in Japanese and there is a made in Japan sticker on the gun. Well this was a long process but enjoyed learning a lot about airsoft and guns along the way.
Thanks to all who responded. ;D

I'm glad to hear that it all worked out for you. The best way to tell if it's the japanese or taiwanese version is to look how much "stuff" came with it. Did you get a nice, multi-page manual, or a one page parts diagram. With either you get some targets and their little engrish safety diagrams with the picture of the guy reading a book and pointing the gun at his buddy. If you have an actual manual, though, then you know it's the Japanese version. Here is just about the best thread i've ever seen regarding the Taiwanese and japanese versions. It's a long read, but well worth it. www.airsoftzone.com/forums/message.cfm?topic_id=32602&forum_id=11#292367And if there are any questions we can't answer here about it, go to airsoftzone and search for posts made by melbs or Phrizzawh in the gas gun section within the last year, they just about cover everthing that is glock 19.
