In the 2 years since I started serious arisofting, a long way I've come in the gear world. Going form a simple duty belt setup, to ALICE gear VN setup, so a more modern MOLLE system for my gear situation.
And now some pics. Enjoy. Suggestions and constructive criticism always welcome. --Sorry for the "not so pefect" quality, as I only have the camera on my phone.
I definately need some replica plates to hold the propper shape. The vest definately slouches a bit, but it works for now. ANy suggestions on such plates, or where I can get some replicas for cheap would be much appreciated.

If you want plates take 8 magazines (like the ones you read) and put 4 in the front and 4 in the back. You will feel much better in that vest, i did it to my PC and it works amazingly well. You can add or remove the magazines for whatever feels best.

Are you referring to the yellow on my patches? I know, it's not the most tactical, but I wanted to shoot for something a bit differnet than the norm. Something that maybe makes my fun stuff stick out a bit more than the same ole typical tan, black and green patches everyone else has. I personally think the OD-Gold looks pretty good. However, the flash makes it look much brighter than it really is. It's actually a really dull golden-yellow. Plus the gold is easier to read on OD than black without getting up close and personal with the patch.
Hmmm. Gonna have to try that with the magazines. Thanks for the tip.

I got some better pictrures with natural light. They're not perfect, but better than the last ones. And Tex, I'm sorry they're not up to "Perfect" standards, but not everyone can afford to buy the best camera for the job, so we have to get by with what we have. And if that bothers you, then just don't look at my pics.

You do have a point, and not to get off subject but there seems to be and elitist trend on these forums. And by that I mean if your not in a small group of moderator or hellfish I have nothing else to say then your not good enough and are looked down upon. Just a little something I needed to say.
Not something needed to be said, but if you don't like it take a hike. I'm sure the admins could help you with that.
Connors, not too sure how the yellow patches will show on the field, though they'll look good for contrast and photo ops. Gear wise, it's down to personal preference and how it fits for you. If the layout works who are we to say anything. I'm kinda curious how the draw is on the 1911. seems like it'd be a bit of a slower draw under fire, but that I'll leave till I see it myself.
As for replica plates or something, a light weight solution would be some 1/4" foam (the pink or blue stuff from Lowe or what not), just be sure to tape it, it will crack easily (especially under combat), the tape will hold it together.
EDIT Connors man get some SFOD going so I can see this shit in person I have nothing else to say.
The draw on the 1911 is actually not bad. It took a bit of getting used to-switching over from belt and thigh rig setups. But once I got used to the feel and motion, it's just as fast as from the belt or thigh.
