As we've said Seven, we haven't even seen the place yet. The picture we've seen is the picture supplied. So... the police are gonna play too? Well they can't use their taser's, cause that would be cheap. Cause then they could just walk up to you and Knife kill you. thats not cool. I'm supper psyched! Is this going to be a milsim type thing? with hostages? or a series of games like at Farmington. Ohhh the questions I have! This is gonna be nuts! I like me some Hellfish events. The only ones I know, actually, and they are pretty awesome. I have nothing else to say no the police are not going to be playing too... they are using the building now for SWAT training I believe, but once they're done it's all ours. Yes, we are planning on this being an actual MIL-SIM event. Just as a teaser, we're planning on multiple objectives... and it's a 9-story building so... objectives. Yeah. Lots. But nothing is *finalized* yet (as far as details go), and we're doing a walk through tomorrow I believe to figure out which objectives will/won't work. We might even take some pictures too. EDIT: Oh, and about being seen from the road and such, we're going to have to have a few rules about that. I think the parking structure and the hotel itself is connected, so getting from cars to the hotel with guns shouldn't be a problem. If it is, then people will just have to keep their stuff in cases until inside the building, like at Farmington. Also, we're debating making balconies off limits because having fully-geared people with guns on the balcony of a hotel....probably not the best idea. But guys, don't worry about rules and things like that. We still need to do a walk through and see what the place is like first. Then we'll figure out all the little rules an such. Just help us build some hype so we can get a big epic event going.

If you take pictures you should NOT show them to whatever team is going to be the attackers (If you are doing a attack and defend/Terrorist hostage rescue scenario) to keep the experience a bit more realistic and keep the attackers guessing a bit more. Just an idea though...

This game is going to happen in the next few weeks so just try to free up either the weekend of the 28th or the week after that.
As for those who have said they won't go to hellfish games anymore (seven). Don't expect to be welcome here. Also for those who don't like whistles, they will be used here in conjunction with a megaphone (I think).
By the way, someone notify freeman and those on the farmington ban list that the hellfish ban does not apply here so he is more than welcome to join granted that he'll actually show up.

And, will there be a complimentary breakfast in the lobby? I don't play ball with cheap-ass hotels.

I thought I heard someone say this place is supposed to be demolished, so no I wouldn't expect there to be any other games. Maybe 2 weekends, probably one. I was under the impression that this will be a very temporary thing. My biggest question is which weekend, and how to get my boss to understand the gravity of the situation.

I was under the impression that this will be a very temporary thing. My biggest question is which weekend, and how to get my boss to understand the gravity of the situation. From what I have read, its going to be completely re-modeled. So no damage to the concrete please. As for no one on balconies or outside holding an AEG or in full gear, that's just common sense. If you don't have a rifle case, go get one. They're not expensive, and protect your AEG MUCH better then the box it came in.

From my understanding it's going to be completely demolished. So you can damage whatever the hell you want.
This is true, common sense will be king at this event guys; as well as communication. IF YOU HAVE A RADIO, BRING IT. If you don't have one, here is fair warning to go out and get one ASAP.

El, check this article out. www.candgnews.com/Homepage-Articles/2009/1-21-09/Hazel-Park-Days-Inn.aspFrom what I've heard and this is just rumor so don't take it as fact, they're supposed to be demolishing it sometime in April. Just be advised as the Hellfish have stated they still have yet to get into the building. Saying that, an individual has been given permission to use the building for an event.

That's right, Tollis. There's no game, no airsoft, and no real fun. We're going to charge $20 a head to let you come in and work with a professional demolition team to gut and then remodel the interior of this building. Retard. Actually, I would consider the demolishing and remodeling fun
