I'm an event organizer for other games, but we generally play out at parks, and don't have guns. I'm new to organizing airsoft groups, and I was wondering what sort of legal measures are necessary for keeping it on the up-and-up.
Moreso, what sort of places are already established places (preferrably Northern Ohio) that I could contact and discuss?
Under the scenario discussion threads, I posted a BASIC description of a new game in development... Airsoft Melee. I'm looking for indoor settings that can get up close and personal, as much as I am looking for places outdoors, probably wooded, that would be cater to point-blank combat.
Thanks for your time and ideas.

When you say parks do you mean public parks?

Public parks are a bad idea dude. Imagine if someone see's your gun that looks real and shoots your ass.

And point blank normally isn't a very good idea outdoors because the guns shoot kinda hot. Close quarters is TOTALLY different, but the FPS is also extremely regulated.

Point blank!!! Sign me up when you get a game going.
Me and Redneck use to play in the public parks and graveyards at night before we decided we didn't want to get in trouble for it. It was fun while it lasted

Kids playing in public parks is what gives our sport a bad name. If you want a legitimate place you have to be in private property with full permission from the owner (insurance would be a plus) and it can't be easily visible from any public streets or sidewalks.
If you are organizing events that don't meet those basic requirements you can not post them here. Actually if you don't meet those requirements, you should not do it at all.

The OP specifically said that the games he's been playing at parks were games without guns, so no problem there.

Oh I missed that. But that leads me to my next question. How do you guys play airsoft without guns?
