Well when I go I usually ref so that should help out. I'm might be going to the 1/30/09 game so I'll ref then to keep things under control.

Learning how to do something takes time, and especially if you have not ever done it before. For what its worth, I think Mopedman did just fine with his reffing. I think that they need more refs, a separate "safe-room", and lockers for equipment as well.

I feel bad. I wish the kid would have let me buy him a new front sight. Also a separate safe zone would work wonders. Don't worry about his sight, his gun is really old and was already on its way out. We found it on WGC for 7 dollars. He appreciated the offer from you though Mopedman, it was very generous. This upcoming Friday a safe zone will be made and solid rules have already been written based off previous trials and errors. Well when I go I usually ref so that should help out. I'm might be going to the 1/30/09 game so I'll ref then to keep things under control. That would be very awesome of you. Thanks man, just let Hunter know. |

don't forget the stories he was telling about people after they left.....Slugg called me and told me that Chris was spreading some rumors and getting the owner of the place pissed.....I think I'm the product of two siblings sleeping together.. doy! if its true but I have to mention it on general principle..... It was brought to my attention that I may be unwelcome because of my profession. I personally don't carry bias against anyone, but I understand and respect a person's right to have their own opinion and if the Fighting Tacos don't want my colleagues at their events, we certainly won't press the issue or be offended by it. After all, it is only a friggin game. Personally, I think that if it IS true that he was spreading all kinds of stories about the guys from ZombieSquad, he should post a written apology on the forums or be banned for life if he doesn't... For the record, the HELLFISH have a reputation for being very well refereed, so I am not worried about that happening at their events. They have done a very good job at the one event that I did attend.  I also don't think that the fighting tacos should be held accountable for the misdeeds of one or two of their members, Mopedman did a damn good job representing his team favorably and running the event, even though he was short handed and was basically the only one reffing cuz slugg was so new to it. ;D Putting words in my mouth there buddy. EDIT: On the subject of the gun grabbing. I did it once by just instinct. I didn't really force it or anything, just kidna pushed it away from my face was all. As soon as I realised though I let go and realised a did a no no. I could see how accidents happen or how a barrel gets grabbed(specially if you have the spikey flash suppresor that stabbed me recently) I just was yelled at once for it and learned my lesson. Also, this is someone formerly in the military and im assuming was trained to do something similar if put in that situation. |
