I like Reaper's idea, but I suggest we make one little change with that and use SKIN vs BLOUSES! LMAO!
In the very famous words of my main man Dave Chappelle "GAME..... BLOUSES...." hahaha...
Yeah, the team arrangement was interesting on Sunday but hey I still had one of the best times playing airsoft in my whole life!
I def got something from Murray's today that I think may help playing in CQB, but you guys might laugh at me for even thinking of it... I have nothing else to say

I am down with paying a bit extra that will help cut down the FF.

My dad asked me to post this. He wants to know if anyone would be interested in a private team only practice/skirmish friday nights. He said he wants to rent out the basement from 6PM to midnight on friday nights. A max amount is 12 people and you will get the whole basement for private practice/play for the night. He wants 75.00 for the night...So add that up correctly 6 hours of play for 6.25 cents a person! Thats a little more than a dollar an hour to have the basement to yourself. This is a great deal for teams that want to get practice in for cheap. If you dont have a team find a max of 12 buddies to pitch in and use the facility. Starting this friday...so PM me for any Q's.

Renting it on fridays would be awesome. But towards the ff situation. Glow sticks work alright, but if you guys wanted just those little star glow stickers and put them in the persons left hand, that way they can show a friendly what color glow sticker they have. It will allow people to hide if they want to as well. BTW, I got a free glowstick from this. www.lifegear.com/freeglowstick/ there are a few other survival and disaster preparedness programs that give out 1 free glowstick per person of a household. Its so if the grid ever drops people don't hurt themselves getting to their flashlights.

The idea behind the glowsticks were to get two colors (red and blue) and they would be taped on the barrel of your gun. That way if you are on the red team and you see blue then shoot. Also if you want to be placed on another team regardless of what you are wearing you just have to switch glowsticks with someone. Just a thought.
If you guys are up for it I can make a request to the owner and we would be ordering these in massive amounts but yeah it would mean we'd probably bump up the price by a dollar. Keep in mind that Dave (owner) has already spent a lot of time and money fixing the basement to our specifications on top of the insurance and operating costs.

Just about the glowsticks, a lot of people run with just pistols, and having a glowstick on a GBB... I don't see that working too well. That's why I said having people wear them around their necks, or on their gear (they fit in MOLLE webbing fine) would work fine. Just throwing that out there.

Yeah, I'd be down with paying an extra $1 for the glow sticks to play, no prob. Agreed also with the pistol situation.
Well maybe you guys can make it optional on where to put it. Either on the barrel of a gun if it's a rifle, and if the people are using a GBB, or a SMG or something smaller then they all have to put it somewhere (same spot) on the body for ease of identification.

I don't want to wear a glowstick, this isn't laser tag. Glow sticks ruins the point of actually hiding. ... just deal with FF, it's real life. We only had a couple problems with FF that could have been avoided with proper communication. If you're trying to hide in a dark room... and you have a fucking blue glowing stick on your gun, you're gonna get shot.... that's all there is to it. I probably wouldn't show up anymore if I was required to wear one.

I would agree that I don't like the glow sticks idea. I would much rather just register with what we are wearing. Black vs camo worked fine for me. Just remember the people who are in the grey area with half and half, there are usually no more then 3 of them.
Or give us an option to wear it or not.

I'd be fine with... if you want to wear a glow stick so you don't get shot by your own team... that's cool.... don't make me suffer because you can't say "black/camo entering main hallway"

Well yeah, the obvious downside of the glowsticks is that you can't really hide in dark places with them. But hey, it was just a thought, and we said we wanted your opinions.
So if we don't do the glowsticks, it would be nice (IMO) if we can get people to register depending on their camo. That way we won't have one side with a lot more people than the other (black vs camo on sunday, for example), and hopefully there won't be too many inbetween people.
Of course, we could just keep it as it is and say "live with the FF, it's like in real life" like 'Stapo said. I personally didn't have too much of an issue with FF, but I reffed most games and only played a few, so I can't really comment.
Just tell us what you guys want.

I'm also more for camo restrictions/leaving it as is more than glow sticks. I for one vote for at least listing camo choices so that players that have options can possibly make the switch because not all players own more than one BDU or a full black outfit. This will also tell us as Hellfish what we should be wearing to help even out teams (if necessary) that day.

I think you guys should try to get people to register camo for the next event and see how it goes.

I think you guys should try to get people to register camo for the next event and see how it goes. That's going to have to be the next step it seems. Really the whole point to this is to make sure that gameplay is enjoyable for everyone. We can never stress enough the need to communicate though and often times the ones complaining about FF the most don't communicate which end up getting them shot.
