I also agree that east side should be desert camo.

Crap I didn't realize this. But U of M pushed back their semester now. So in the past we used to be done by April 29th. But now we're starting a week later so that we can push our spring break back by a week, so in my usual luck I end almost always having a f*cking final on the last Saturday of the semester.
Classes start on Monday and of course the final schedule is already pre-determined so if I have a final that day I'll be out of attending this op, but If I don't I'm still in. I should know by next week.

I hate to break it to you, Gunny, but UofM started yesterday. I hope you didn't have any important classes this week.

You guys are lucky that your colleges get out so early. NMU's last day of classes are May 5th so I'll possibly be taking finals during this game.

Is there anyway I can get an exact date since this would be my first big game.
That being said where do I sign up? (not to be taken as confused noob talk.)

[glow=red,2,300] UPDATE!!![/glow] Game will be Scheduled for Saturday, May 2nd, 2008. To have the complete 180 arces we will need to have 200 pre-paid players for this event. If we do not have 200 registered players, then we will play on the North 40 which is approx 70 acres. Game will be 8 hours long! Two 4 hour scenarios. Game will start at 9am and run to 6pm. There maybe a short lunch break in the middle. Cost is still being worked out, but looking around $35 for early pre-paid players. This will also include a event patch too. Event patch will be required for this event, patches will be sent out early to pre-paid players. Your patch will be required to be attached to your uniform to play at this event. Other details about this event. Age limt: 14 and 15 will require parental presence in game. Parents must play too. 16+ will require parental consent. 18+ not required but recommend to have girlfriend/wife/bf consent. Strict Uniform Requirements NO Highcaps! NO Medics Officer Respawn Rules. (Details will follow after event has been posted) Teams will have the option (with game credits) to buy advantages in game. ...more will follow. Offical game announcement will be posted within the next few days. So, go tell your friends and tell them to get ready for the best game of the year! One page earlier, and should answer all your questions.

Sweet, my last final is the 29th. I don't see any reason why I shouldn't be able to attend, so...sweet.

I'll try and make it out. I haven't played in so long. I'm gunna have to make sure everything still works. As far as camos go my vote goes to east-side woodland. I have a thing for woodland cammoflauge. But I will try and make it regardless.

Howdy there everybody and a quick question for Skypilot! I noticed that you have decided for the rule on NO highcaps *thank you* BUT is this rule also going to be placed on Support Gunners? I have just leveled up past "weekend warrior and rec player" with a few friends and obtained my new M249 but alas I have not had a chance to order mid caps for it yet *if such a rule is created*. So I thought I would ask for a quick clear up of that little rule. I have my big ol' drum that holds a hefty amount of ammo, if I were to request a bend of the rule for us support gunners we can either
A) Only have one fill per event *since there are two with a lunch break*
or,
B) Have just one fill flat in our box/drum mags, I mean I will have a brick of ammo to boot but this rule will help me attend and decide how "support happy" my trigger finger will decide to be!
Thank ya much and my little group look forward to attending and meeting you all!
J

If it is a midcap and lowcap only game most places let the saws use 300 round high caps for a M4.

If it is a midcap and lowcap only game most places let the saws use 300 round high caps for a M4. That is wrong as well. For an event like this, you can't put a box mag in an M4 and call it a support weapon. It has to be a replica of a support weapon. M249, M60, M2HB, RPK, RPD, AUG H-BAR, HK-21 & 23, L86A1, Ect... So if you do not have a replica of these (or other such) machine guns, It's Midcaps, Standards, and Lowcaps only. {El EDIT- Spell check don't catch everything
