Win. I will try to be at the first op.
An excellent place for an op, or just a regular rec game. Get all the fields put together and a few truck-mounted M249's and we could have something.
EDIT: Just read the description for Archie Bunker. It said something about hiring a tank.........? Forget truck mounted, use the tank! I'm guessing the field has them.

It's about an hour out for me, I'd be willing to make the drive.
This seems to have a lot of are and some environments we don't usually see. The only issue would be that nasty paint like at No Limits. I guess if we ever have a game there I'd wear my second line gear.
I'd much rather see an OP there with some nice planning to keep things concentrated and interesting. I can plan a simple Blackhawk down scenario just looking at the map. Begin attacking Castle (warlord's stronghold), move through the Village to the BH, extract at West Point.

It would take me a couple of hours to get there but if you get together a good op and some good numbers I'm in and I know I can grab at least one other guy maybe more.

I am so fucking down for this. Why did they decide to do a 180 with airsoft? People have been asking them to let us play there for years and they've always said no.

Wow. These guys finally opened up to airsoft. I have always heard about this field and I can't wait to see it in person. Any details about rules? Facemasks, FPS, and so on?

They are opening up to airsoft because the sport of paintball isn't doing so well due to the cost involed. And plus airsoft is no longer a backyard game played with springer's and 6 year-olds. Oh and did I mention because paintballs freeze in the winter, so we have the field? Either way, this is our chance to show there is a interest and with a good enough turn out, perhpas we can have OPS in the summer too. Chase and I spoke about this today, we may have a Area 51 OP here.

What Sky, says is true but we also got lucky. I called about two weeks ago and spoke with a Secretary about renting the field for a day for an airosft event?? She said I would have to talk to the owner.. But I asked her to take some info for him to review. The info was, total number of expected players =100-150 first game maybe more later. Two weeks go by and I get a call from the Owner today, we talked for about 20 minutes, about MIA rules and full face mask ( required or Not) we decided 15 and under Full mask the rest belaclava/ what ever ( winter time )
Long story short, they will be closed for paintball till April so we can have games/ops Dec - March. MIA rules, regular bb's not Bios! One hell of a built up place to play Airsoft and also have cool BA stuff like, Trucks, Helicopters, tunnels into castles, DC3 airplane is what I hear. I am geeked, stoked. The owner told me he has had paintballers from other countries come over for their big milsim games, they have 4 a year.
My hope is we show them we can make them money too, like paintball does and airsoft is cool too. We need a BIG turnout and maybe just maybe we will have the field for a 2 day'er in the summer.. shhhhh!
We are looking at Saturday dates in December any ideas for best turnout?

If you can wait until later in December, the weekend before Christmas might be a good idea. Most of the younger crowd and the college kids will be out of school, so we'll all give you a better turn out.
