Personally, I had tons of fun. The small numbers kept the games fast paced and not clustered, which at the SFOD field is uncommon (not necessarily a bad thing). We started a bit late, but that was due to rain, can't really complain.
Nice meeting guys like Mustang and his son, thanks for the canopy.
So what did you guys think?

The small number of people there was kind of cool, I got to get some time to meet some new people. I also found out how hard my RAP5 shoots...
Best part (for me at least) was when I lit off my WA M4 inside that one building with the pool liner and I heard like four people go "what the fuck is that?!?!"

I had a great time out there. Having a smaller group of players was really nice. SFOD, you guys are awesome. This was the first time I've ever played "D-Day", what a great time. Ripping through almost 1 1/2 high-caps in less than 10 minutes...... I have nothing else to say. The only problem I had was my strut coming apart on the way home and (after almost going in the ditch) being stuck on the corner of Perry Rd. and M-15 for 2 hours, waiting for a tow truck, I have nothing else to say. I really hope to get out to Blood Dynasty in a couple weeks to see you all again!!!!!!

Warpig said he got pics and some video. I'll talk to him, and once he has things in order, I'll get them and post them up here.
Onto the game..
Great day guys, great day. I have to say, I had a pretty good time. I'd have to say my favorite games were "D-Day" and the 3-man team one Skypilot got going. That 3-man team game was soo much fun. It made you really work as a team to stay alive. And the twist of rejoining with the first 3 guys to meet at the respawn, just made it that much mroe interesting. Team mates one second, then the next you're shooting at the gusy you wee just fighting alongside. Oh, that 3-man game, whoever was inside the compound, that got shot from above(the "fist" team to come into the city), I hope I didnt get ya in the nad's. I know I came mighty close.
The D-Day games: Well, what's the best way to describe these?.. Adrenaline Rush!! Twas some intense game play. I have one "Word of the Wise" though. When you're at a log bunker, make sure you duck down far enough. I hate takin' head shots, but when that's all the target is giving me and they're shooting back, I'm gonna take it and hope I don't do any damage. I got quite a few of those in that last D-day game. And Kudos to psvoorheis and whoever came up with him and tagged me in the lower trench bunker...you guys pretty much came right up on me and f'ed me over..hot rifle+close quarters+ almost out of pistol ammo=wasn't a pretty situation for me..
I am actually surprised at how many people did make it out. it was supposed to be raining all day, and I'm sure that turned some away. But alas, we got blue skies and sunny weather to make for a great day. The games definately were fast paced and far from clustered. The hill form the staging area to the field was indeed still brutal though..
Pearl, that M4 is EPIC! That thing is just insane...One up for intimidation.
It's good to hear that everyone had a good time. We're always trying to figure problems out, this and that, and there are always more things that come up. But we're doin our bets to get everyhting sorted out. I'd also like to add, that we had no (to my knowledge) incedents of people not calling hits. To everyone, SFOD thanks you. Less problems like that makes things run soo much smoother, and the day is just that much better.

We also had loads of fun. I like the big games but it was nice to play the smaller one on your field. The last 2 time we were out was for big games. What a difference. D-day was a blast I could have done that a few more times.
The three man game was interesting. I must admit made you play a different type of game.
I also have to say Pearl that M4 is the cat’s ass… I was watching a couple of times you would throw a burst out, It didn’t matter if you were even shooting in some guy’s direction they were ducking anyways!!
All I can says is I am beat. After No-limits and Sat then this on Sunday I need 2 weeks to recoup. See you guys at BDII
Little Stang and I really appreciate the time you guys take to work with us

Connors, not to be a fun governor, but smaller games always lead to less fucktards... I always have more fun at smaller games than large scale ops with 120+ people. Not that I don't have fun there, but with numbers come the idiots.

No worries Crazy. I agree...to some extent. It relly depends on the scenario though for me. Some of our scenario's have were just kickass and some were just kinda "eh".
But usually, I'd say the smaller games are definately far more fun.

I had a lot of fun out there. Great to get to know some you guys. It was fun talking with Treadway, A great guy in my opinion. It was a pleasure meeting him.
Even though my battery pooped out on me i had fun using my new 1911. I felt that the games went very well, everyone got along and had stories to tell after each game.
Thanks SFOD for the great rec game looking forward to seeing you guys on the battlefield at Blood Dynasty II.

I also got a try at the gas m4, that thing was awesome. And it had an acog!
As for the game, it was great. I brought three new friends who had never been to an even this large (but those of us who have played there before know this one was actually pretty small), and they had a great time. I slipped in some mud and broke the remaining tab on my tm m733, but a zip tie fixed that and I was fine for the rest of the game. My favorite part was the D-Day mission, on the first game I had an amazing spot where I racked up many kills unnoticed, and eventually was the last man standing. When I heard everyone yell that they knew I was the only one left, it got awesome. I think it was corey that I shot first, but then he ran up beside me and got in my way of shooting someone else, so he got shot waaaaay too much. I really wanted to get that other kill before getting swarmed by 3+ people at once. On the third D-Day game I tried the same spot, but the only kill I got was with a guy who started out as a defender (sitting right next to me), but then got killed and then got killed again by me. He should have known I was still there!
My other favorite moment was in the building. There was another guy with the beta ak in the other tower, I kept popping up to try and get a headshot in but he was really good about keeping his head down. I hit his gun, but didn't get him. Right when I thought to go check the stairs I picked up my mac 11 and headed over there, but someone was waiting there and got me in the leg with a pistol.
Another great moment was in the first infinite respawn game. I saw movement and shot through the trees and got someone (something I never usually try), then slowly crawled my way through the brush all the way from the path at the edge of the village to D-Day and no one saw me. I then shot into both the bunkers, getting two kills, then moving up and waiting for people to come repopulate the bunkers where I got another kill or two. Then, after all that I moved into this hole in the ground where I was eventually killed by the friend I brought while trying to shoot at someone else. (my gun wasn't shooting over the hole, which I didn't notice since I had a red dot on)
Biggest screwup: I went up the main building but really didn't want to just scream and spray them all (there was a kid there, and there were some people on our team with different colored camo). So I only got one of them and he got me when I could have got all three. It was pretty cool going up there dual weilding my m733 and the mac 11 though.
All in all, awesome, awesome game, and i'm glad it was $15 and not the usual $20.

So yer the one I tagged next to the ladder. ;D The guy with the Beta is ex-Military. He's awsome.

Where's Warpig with the pics and vid? I wanna see this stuff!!!! Again, I had a great time and SFOD should do more "last minute" games to keep the groups small from time to time. That was the most fun I've had out there yet!!
