HAPPY B-DAY NEWMAN! Enjoy your new goodies you lucky devil!! ;D
if i were you i wouldnt bother getting a gbb if you have an electric already
If I were you I wouldn't listen to this drivel........
the chance of your battery dying is the only likely problem
Me thinks not, there are plenty of things that can & do go wrong with AEG's, especially if he adopts the advice you gave below regarding the spring upgrade.
This is fitting advice if you rely on full auto due to an inability to aim & hit your targets. I don't have the need for a second mag. and I use a very fast Glock 18C.
otherwise I wouldnt have much advice except maybe no sniper rifle
Sniping can be a blast, if you have the patience and the right tools. Guns are tools, even if they are airsoft guns. Use the right tool for the right job. Don't try to make a nail gun (mp5) do a hammer's (sniper rifle) work.
in my experience, you could get a powerful spring for your mp5 and a scope, then switch in your spring when you wanted to snipe. add a good inner barrel too maybe and you will be more than equal to anybody carrying around a super 9. you wont be a match long range for a psg1 or similar, but the cost is much less and you will also have full auto
If you are actually utilizing this theory without further upgrades to a stock gun, and have yet to experience a meltdown of your gun's internals, then you are truly lucky. This spring advice is NOT good, unless you have done the prerequisite modifications to the gearbox & other assorted bits to work in conjunction with the spring (see below). The cost may be less than a proper sniper rifle, but the repair to your AEG will be a high $$ affair. It's just not worth the initial savings.
Check this link out www.geocities.com/gangsta08/systemaupgrade.htm, it may prove helpful to you and others that are thinking of upgrading their beloved AEG's.
Sorry Unnamed for steppin' on ya, as you are entitled to your OPINION and speaking it freely. Please be careful of the advice you offer, especially when it comes to birthday $ and public forums.
