Hehehe thought the title was funny. Anyhoo, woohoo@$250 for my birthday so far! I need some info from all of you about what I should buy, now that I have some cold hard ca$h. Here are the things I'm considering, I need some feedback: 1. 2 Electric Micro-Uzis from Airsoft Atlanta-$32.99. The only reason being that it'll be so fun to show my friends and then have a Micro-Uzi match, and maybe go psycho with them during a skirmish. 2. A load bearing vest or mag pouches. Hadoken's LBV is so sweet; I need one to carry all my mags I'm buying now (#3) 3. Mags/clips-2 or 3 standard MP5 ones. $27 each=$52 or $79. I'll have either 4 or 5 mags in all, depending on how many I buy, so I'll need a vest/holder that holds one less than my total amount (one in gun). 4. Gas pistol? I don't really even need a backup, since I have my hi-caps, but it would look cool. ;D 5. Sniper rifle. We don't have any snipers, so I could be one if needed. Any suggestions? By the way, I just fixed my orange barrel problem. Some nice black electrical tape fixed everything, except the front of the silencer is still orange Any ideas? I don't want to do any permanent stuff to the silencer, just cover it up. Thanks.

I think I’m gonna try myself at sniper in the spring, I plan on making a M16A2 sniper system around then.
As for what to get, if you plan on going standard mags then buy a few mags. Also you don’t have a GBB and they are always nice. KSC M11, KSC G18, TM tac, you tried them all at the event. Just remember with the weather don’t expect much till the spring. But again no airsoft collecting is complete without a GBB.
You could also tac out your Sd6. Get a flashlight/laser hook up. Maybe a twin mag clamp... sling... red dot scope? Etc.

What happened to the parental's ban on guns? Did you whine and plead like a good Newman should? ;D
Oh, and since I haven't said it yet....Happy Birthday!

it sucks! (the sig) if i were you i wouldnt bother getting a gbb if you have an electric already. the chance of your battery dying is the only likely problem, and that can be solved with a springer, although your chaces are about the same. Little advice from my glock 18 self- if you get a gbb buy at least 1 extra mag. you think reloading an electric under fire is tough, try reloading your gbb!
otherwise I wouldnt have much advice except maybe no sniper rifle. in my experience, you could get a powerful spring for your mp5 and a scope, then switch in your spring when you wanted to snipe. add a good inner barrel too maybe and you will be more than equal to anybody carrying around a super 9. you wont be a match long range for a psg1 or similar, but the cost is much less and you will also have full auto (unless youre over 400 fps and people require you to fire on semi). Oh, and also I think doing anything but actually removing barrel paint makes it look fake, but thats just my opinion. Gotta love the WGC paint, comes right off with paint thinner.

I dunno, my tape worked just fine, blends right in IMHO.
I...don't....want to upgrade my gun for at least, half a year maybe. I'm too scared...I'm not losing this gun to a bad upgrade job.
About getting guns-it appears that my mom was just in a weird mood or something. No ban or anything now (probably just since it *was* my birthday [it's Saturday morning at 1:21 AM heehee]).
This may sound really weird, but I have yet to actually reload in a game! I lent my other mag to Hadoken when we played in the skirmish, so I never got to reload in-game. Oh well, I'll have lots of experience once I get some regular mags.
I've decided against the sniper rifle-I'll stick with my MP5 for now. It's really silent, accurate, and fast; no need for a rifle as of yet.
I think this is what I'm buying: Response Vest-http://www.uscav.com/shop/uscitemdetail.asp?stk_code=WA1004 -$39.88 3 MP5 regular 50 round mags-$79 (www.airsofttoys.com) All together-$118.88. I've decided to save some of my money for possibly a gas pistol for next year (when it gets warmer).

Woohoo!...Happy Birthday Mr Newman *searches pockets for a present* umm...here you go...a BB! $250 to spend huh, thats some nice casheroo. Hmm..since ye want some sort of vest, you should check out ebay for some real US mil. LBV's instead of cheapo ones like mine. The only bought mine because it was black. I think you can get some camo LBV's there for maybe $19 or less. MP5 mags..wunderbar idea. I'd go for that too and you can give the rest to me for um...safe keeping. yessss..thats it..safe keeping. a GBB would be nice ye know, I bet you had fun shooting ours at the last skirmish, aaaaand I dont think the electric micro uzis would be worth the money. *shrugs* WOOO..almost my birthday too! Bah...of course the wife refuses to buy me airsoft gear.

I've seen that one at Georgia Outfitters, but, they take 7-14 days to get ready for shipping!!! If I order mine from US Cav, they ship it 24-48 hours...that's a big time difference. eBay had 5 items, and one looked kinda *ok*, but none appealed to me. The one that looked ok was $39, so I wouldn't save any by buying that one. I think I'm sticking to US Cav. I'm probably going to order it today unless somebody screams at me telling me I'm doing wrong thing. I'll also be ordering the mags today, also.

Why cant anyone just make a decent looking ripoff of the Blackhawk vests? I love those designs, I just think a vest shouldnt cost more than my gun. guess Viking is a bit defensive about his sig, eh? I like this vest more www.uscav.com/shop/uscItemDetail.asp?stk_code=WA16471

Aye that eagle vest rules! As soon as I have some extra money to waste on airsoft again I'll probably get me a nice Blackhawk vest. But I do agree with ye Unnamed, they are kinda expensive, but luckily we can get cheaper knock-offs. Check out WGC, in their "Combat Gears" section they have some nice looking vests, and the prices aren't too bad either. Hmmmm...*me strokes beard*...I'm starting to like that new Guarder US Swat vest. Edit: Holy crap, just noticed the Guarder SOG CQB Tactical Vest..mmmmmm@MP5 mag pouches.
