Very cool dan. Didn't richard get that same red dot sight? It's badass.
This is chuck, HiGhGrOuNd#1, by the way- i had to change my name on account that I'm not really a sniper or one-to-be anymore.

How did you get it to change the pictures like that?
By the way, very cool...looking forward forward for that piece of iron firing back at me.

I took it with my digital camera then used photo house to turn it into a negative.

I think he was referring to the slide show, not the negative. (which would have been better as the real picture)

No, Dan. Sickpointe has me convinced that I can't get my gun over 350 fps. For the kind of things I would want to do as a sniper, I would need higher. But, I still plan to get my AUG, don't worry yourself. I had stopped planning out to get a sniper rifle a while ago.
(I did however see an upgraded M24 on eBay today, almost made me change my mind)

hmmmmm, lets see. I plan to buy: TM AUG with Batt/Charger - $233 AUG Hi-Cap - $33 Shipping - $30? All this from Airsoft shop, totaling to $296 Then, I would get all this from AirsoftToys: PD1 150% Spring - $20 SYSTEMA Metal Bushings (what's the diff. between these and the oiless ones?) - $28 SYSTEMA Tight Bore Barrel - $32 Shipping - $10? All this from AirsoftToys, totaling to $90. That would, all in all, total to 386. I currently have... erm like $350, will get $30 from work on wednesday. I will also have to perform the upgrade myslef . I might need some instruction on that part. Anyways Dan, if you want to GIVE me money that'd be cool too, the sooner I can buy my gun. Until then, M11 will have to do.

Shipping for the AUG will be more than $30. Back when I was ordering my SD6 I asked WGC to give me a quote on an AUG as well just for kicks. Shipping was $55 and that was without the charger and mag.

Figure closer to $60 for shipping! My order from WGC cost $22 for shipping, and that was just some parts and a silencer, not very heavy compared to an AEG with extras. You might be better off getting one of WGC's AEG starter packs, $360 shipped for the AUG SRT one, and it has everything you have listed plus BBs.
As far as upgrades, my parts should be arriving sometime this week, and I'll be installing them into my AUG on my own as well. If everything goes as planned, I could probably offer you some help when you get around to doing yours.

Keep in mind that Airsoft Toys only charges $10 to perform the upgrades for you if you buy the gun from them.
