I month ago I ordered two weapons from them a CA M41 SAR FS and a AE ICS mp5. The day I opened the box the ICS was fine but there was a crack in the stock of the M41. I called the site immmediately and then the customer service dood told me to email their tech people, which I did. All within minutes of opening the box. As I put the gun back into the box the crakc opened and the whole stock sheared off the gun.
Playing email tag with tech support there, I took pics of the gun and then after 5 days they finally said they would ship me a new one... as long as they charge my card again. And I let them... BIG MISTAKE.
Two days ago I recieved an email from them telling me they are not warrantying the original gun because, and I quote " item cannot be warranteed since the findings above are considered as misused/abused and cannot be refunded."
Thier tech department will not help me and there manager will not call me back. So now I am supposedly out $360 for gun they shipped me as defective. The manager was supposed to call me today again, and they close in 5 minutes so I guess she will not again.
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM!
Anyone know any legal avenues I may be able to take? THe company is in California and I am in Michigan.

I am not sure how the BBB may help. How about smallclaims court here in Michigan? THey would have to show.. spend money to get here. Would be too much of a hastle. I dont know. If it was 50 bucks its one thing. but to be out 360 bucks is fricken rediculous.

As a Classic Army dealer I can tell you I've seen stuff like this happen. It's not due to a defective gun or anything. Sometimes a gun here and there gets messed up somewhere between the factory, the wholesaler, retailer and end user. No one catches it until the end user finds the issues. I don't know where Airsplat gets there guns from but we get our guns threw Spartan Imports, the main US wholesaler for CA products. If I had a customer open a gun and find something broken like that, all I would have to do is call Spartan, tell them and they would send new parts or a new gun on the spot. Airsplat should be able to do the samething. Shit, one of are customers got screwed on a Systema PTW by Airsplat. They ignored him until he finally bough new parts from me. Email them this thread

HOLY CRAP!!!!
Problem fixed!!!
I called them as they were closing, and the manager was still not available. I had the phone dood give me there mailing address, asked if they had a legal department. He sounded a wee bit nervous. I then hung up on him.
I just got a call from the manager, 2 hours aftger they close! She was very cordial, I explained the whole situation to her. SHe refunded me the money for the gun.. whewww...
Now I have 350 extra bucks to spend... Hmmmmmm..... ;D

Well played, greysquirrel. Are they going to pay for you shipping the gun back, or is that still out of your pocket (or did you scare them enough that they'll let you keep the product?).

Actually, they had paid for the shipping or the old gun back and the new gun to me. I piched a fit then because I had both of them overnighted.. and yeah, it was a high fee. I have nothing else to say

I've alread won a few loyal customers from Airsplat just over Systema PTW issues. They ignored one of my customers so long he finally just bought new parts for his out of the box defective PTW because he was sick of screwing around them them and there little game of, oh well you gotta call the tech. Then the tech saying speak to the manager etc, who was never in and always suppose ro call back but never did.

From what I've seen, you only have a problem IF you have a problem. Like as long as your shit works, you are good. It only when things break or they mess something up they start to give you the run around.
