Overall, ASGI is great. They have a good selection, usually around the ballpark price as other sites, sometimes lower, nice sales, free shipping on orders over $100.00. Id give it a B+/A-
The only thing I absolutely hate about ASGI is their shipping. They dont follow/dont have a 24 shipped policy, so if you are in the Michigan/Ohio area, expect to get the thing you order about 5-7 days after you order. They will give you an expected delivery date, something like 3-4 days after you order, and its been wrong every single time Ive ordered from them.
Im always about to order, and then I forget they take forever to ship.
The other thing about their shipping is that they dont have small parcel shipping savers. I ordered two buckings which is all of what a small envalope? They still charged me the base fee of ~$9.50 to ship two miniscule pieces.
So overall shipping: D- ; Its stopped from ordering from them before.

Yeah they have amazingly slow shipping. It pisses me off. Their web layout is so addicting too - with its nice pictures, well laid out display, sucking you in to bask in airsoft glory - then your package doesnt come for a week.
It'll come, it might just take a day or two more.

I hate to contradct this one..but... I have only had one major problem with their processing/shipping in the dozens of times I've ordered from them. The only time they ever took long to ship, was when they waited for 5 days to go by before finally processing my order and calling me to tell me that an item was out of stock and asked if it's Guarder counterpart would be ok. You have to remeber though, it's not UPS's fault that it takes a week(or more), it's ASGI's processing step. They take way too damn long to simply acknowledge that you have even placed an order. They may be a bit slow in the processing part, but ASGI carries a healthy positive reputaion so I am not too worried about gettin' screwed..but they could be a bit more time efficient IMO.

Thats not really contradicting anything that was said. No one was bashing ASGI's already great reputation with getting you the products. We were mearly commenting on the slow proccessing/shipping, hence: Overall, ASGI is great. They have a good selection. The only thing I absolutely hate about ASGI is their shipping. They dont follow/dont have a 24 hour shipped policy.

Yea, i ordered my First HIGH END gun from them in 2006. IT was my CA M15A4. And it took them like 2 weeks to ship. But they said the payment or something was part of the problem I think I'm the product of two siblings sleeping together.. doy!. But, i was pissed because i went to my first OP in ohio before i found MIA. I had to use my UTG AK-74.

The one time I ordered something from them the bank called 4 days after I ordered to verify if I bought something off of them. So I blame the bank not them after they called though it got here with in the next couple of days.

What had you ordered with? Was it just a credit card or did you go through paypal? It might take longer if you use a credit card because when I ordered those buckings thats what I used, however in the past I have used my paypal account and I noticed a 1-2 day difference in the past now that I think about it.
I guess they have to check the bank to see if the number clears, but if you have a bank-verified paypal account (like I do), then they can skip that step, or do a step like it that takes less time.
Just a thought..
So if anyone wants to get possibly faster shipping from ASGI..try using paypal?

Come to think of it, it seems like my three orders from GI have all been delayed in shipping time. Weird.
They do however, have great customer service. I ordered an OD vest and they sent me ACU. I e-mailed tham and within 5 minutes I got a phone call telling me to leave the package on my doorstep and UPS would pick up my package teh next day as well as drop off my OVERNIGHTED OD vest. Great.
They also forgot to include 2 UTG m324 mags which they sent out the very next day after a 2 minute phone call.

Their customer service is indeed amazing..when done by phone..they sometimes take a few days to get to emails, but over the phone, they are raelly good about any problems or questions.

I have ordered off ASGI twice and was very pleased with them as a company. (The chronoing was a nice addition). The only problem is both times and twice with my freind when the package finally reaches the mount pleasant branch it is ALWAYS left behind for some reason it never fails. Right when it pops in to the MP branch is always then goes to the delivery reschedual phase. I know its not their fault but ordering off trinity airsoft and airsoftmegastore they always get it to me on time.
