I have been looking around and cheap retailers and Redwolf Airsoft is insanely cheap I think its like $257 for the Sr-16 and M4 R.I.S. but they are an HK dealer. I was wondering if anyone has had any good/bad responses from them or heard of any?

I think shipping charges are like 60 bucks, add that on and if its still cheepest and you dont mind waiting a week or 2 to get the gun then i havnt heard of any problems with them

Redwolf has been the topic of a few horror stories in regards to overseas ordering. It seems some people have had sterling experiences with them, while others fail to get what they've ordered completely, or find that they're missing items, have gotten the wrong items, etc. They may have great prices, but I wouldn't order from them simply because of their dubious reputation. I'd rather pay a little bit more and be completely confident that my order is going to arrive, complete and intact, than save a couple bucks.
I'd advise checking out the retailer reviews on AirsoftPlayers in relation to RedWolf, but I'm not sure Pikachoad has the site fully back online yet...might wanna pop over there and check it out. I *think* Arnie's has a review concerning RedWolf also.

Yep just wanted to mention the retailer reviews are gone off airsoftplayers along with most of the other content. No recent backups and pretty much all is lost in that regaurd. None the less you can check it out it's on the main page today. www.airsoftplayers.comLuke P.S. Tis a sad day for all airsoftplayers:)

I've had one experience with Redwolf and I it was bad. The initial quote was fine, but I decided to pay by international money order and that took two weeks to clear. After it cleared they took their sweet time shipping. The whole transaction took 60 days, and the communication from them was extremely poor. I haven't shopped there since.

I like Redwolf's website but I would never order from them. I sent them several e-mails and they have yet to respond.

Shipping from any HK or JP place will be expensive (at least $30). Although their prices are usually lower. It's really a trade off of shipping charges and base price.

I've ordered from them twice, and both times things seemed to go pretty well. My first order was just a bunch of upgrades and accessories, mostly gearbox parts. The second time I purchased a pistol and it arrived after probably spending an extra long time in customs. I say this because when I got the gun It had the tip painted orange but not a single trademark was covered. this could have easily led to the gun being seized and me being out $200. I guess I just got lucky.
If I ever buy anything from them again it definitely wont be an airsoft gun, maybe some cheap upgrade parts, but never something as expensive as a gun.

Ive never had a problem with them, and Ive ordered from them more than a dozen times. Never a gun, but on one order, $600 worth of accessories of my own, and another $300 worth of my friends tagging stuff onto my order. In my experience, it takes a week to process, then its at my door no more than 4 days. But I always pay with paypal. Shipping maybe a little higher, but again, from date of shipping (not the date the order was placed) only 4 days max.
No complaints here, so I will continue to order from them.

I've ordered from Redwolf. Never a problem. I used Paypal to pay but funded the payment with my credit card back before my Paypal was locked for selling "firearms". Stupid Paypal.
I've noticed most of the horror stories are from people who use wire transfers or international money orders. Not all of them but a lot more then Paypal and credit cards.

I've never had anything go wrong with them either, everytime I've ordered it's been on a monday and I've had the package by friday. They also have that point system, which is nice years down the road to realize you have a thousand of them and can get a new systema motor for free like I just did not that long ago

You will also note that the original posts here are from 2003. It is now 2007. In the intervening years, Redwolf Airsoft has really cleaned up their act and become a much more reliable retailer.

I ordered a set of Guarder brand goggles from RedWolf right before Op: Blood Dynasty, and had them in about a week. As far as I know, no one else on my team has had any problems with them. So I fully plan to order my CA M15A4 from RedWolf.
