I know I ask a lot of questions, but I like to make sure I know what im getting before I buy. I don't have of a whole lot of money so by getting an AEG, I'm going to have it for a while.
Anyways,
For those of you who have ordered from WGC, do they cover up trades?
(Assuming they do) How do they do it? Putty/tape? Dremel/hot iron?

They used to use putty, but now it is branding, good by trade marks. If you want trade marks, try going with Classic Army, we just got some in and they all have full trade marks and look great. I can take a photo for you if you are interested in seeing it.

Dang, well does anyone know of a reliable dealer that uses putty/tape instead of complete removal?
*Edit* I was browsing some retailer sites and Den Trinity has got a good deal. (Mauri M4A1 Special package)
what do they do for trademarks?

Some sites actually get the customer prefrence! They will ask you before you pay for it. I know thats what UN company did for my Socom, Just check their site out and when you go to check out it will ask along with how you want it shipped, then they will calculate the shipping.

I am going to be ordering a M700 (Tanaka M700) soon and I was wondering if WGC is a good reliable retailer to order from. My original plan was to go with UnComp. but this place seemed good also.

WGC and UNCompany are both respected Hong Kong retailers. I've ordered from both and have been happy with both. Their prices are almost identical and they use the same options for shipping (of which SpeedPost is by far the best, IMHO). WGC probably has a larger selection of random "stuff" you might be looking for, but UNCompany seems more likely to have stuff in stock. Your mileage may vary.

The last time I (We) got stuff from WGC, they covered the trades wiht grip tape. Real simple and trades were beautiful.

Just wondering if anyone has ordered from them recently. I noticed that the last entry on this section was back in 05 so its possible that things may have changed since then. I was wondering because I saw on arnies that they were running a promo www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/news2/ so I was considering making a purchase.

Those are the big the Asian Airsoft companies for me.

Ummm WGCShop is as good as they get... they just never delete anything, so if anything was ever made, you can find it there.

WGC is decent, but redwolf is still the best for their shipping. You cant beat ordering on monday and having it by friday, and it costs the same as other HK retailers. They also give you rewards over time, I have like 1800 points I still need to spend.

im prety sure that Classic Army is endorced by Armalite so US Customs doesnt care if the trade marks are still on there.
